Today is the dumbest AI will be.
AI will be smarter tomorrow.
And the day after.
And the day after that.

Will you be smarter every single day going forward?

AI doesn’t even know what it’s doing.

NOT SMART ENOUGH TO MAKE THEIR OWN WATER.

ONLY SMART ENOUGH TO STEAL OURS.

"Smart" doesn't mean squat.

Look at all the "Educated" liberals. Are they smart?

Masters, PHDs abound - and they're all dumber than dirt.

Current AI is totally dependent on a) the data it is fed b) The algorithms and programming that tell it how to use the data.

1) AI data in incomplete. The areas of incompleteness are not uniform. Incomplete data is clustered in certain areas. This makes AI biased.
2) AI cannot tell the difference between fact and fiction, fact and opinion. Example: It treats data from SPLC as fact when it is opinion. It treats Cabot Cove ME and Spart MS as geographic fact when it is fiction.
3) AI is intentionally programmed to not be racist. Thus, it cannot relate factual data about race in crime statistics, effectiveness of attempts to fight racism.
4) AI algorithms and logic to process data is full of arbitrary guidelines. Much of this is for good reason and the difference between NARROW and GENERAL AI. NARROW AI is focused on driving a driverless car, or finding the cause of an illness, or other narrow task.
At the edge of the narrow scope AI makes many errors.
But General AI makes even more errors due to its lack of expertise in a specialty.

Current AI can be improved. There are 5 or 6 brands of AI. If one AI does better at accuracy and a 2d does better at speed and a 3d does better at cost efficiency which is going to get the market share of the business and money?

I just used 2 different AI’s to try to figure out a 24 hour, rotating shift schedule. You should have seen the amount of garbage and crap those things came up with. No matter the prompts I used they were completely useless and impossible for a person to work.
Tell me how “smart” AI is. 😂

What happens when it predicts the stock market and stock pps with almost perfect accuracy? We’re close to an economic collapse.

I have a lot of experience with AI in medicine.

It is not intelligent. It is not smart.

It stacks facts very rapidly - but intelligence (smartness) is not fact stacking.

AI thinks like a medical student thinks.

I asked AI how to change the headlight in my 02 f350. It came back with some convoluted crap I knew was wrong. So I opened the hood. Looked at the offending headlight. Saw a round plastic collar that had bulb wire protruding from it that I grabbed and turned counter clockwise about one third…and out the bad bulb popped.

I’m glad it got move 37 right but it was no damn help to me.

“business incentive to lie is large ... Don’t believe me? You can just ask Amazon’s own AI Chatbot”

I repeatedly get email like these... sent from all directions.

We adopted “In God we Trust”. Just as we should not trust Stalin or Hitler and just as we should not trust an ad for Ford or Chevy ... we should not trust AI. AI is a useful tool that can increase the probability of the truth in some situations. TRUST...BUT VERIFY.
