Senator Mitch McConnell was discharged from the rehab center and said he will continue his recovery at home.
McConnell was hospitalized on June 14 after he was found unconscious at his DC home.
“Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff," McConnell said in a statement.
“On the advice of my doctors, I’ll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I’ll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business,” McConnell said.

Last month McConnell posted a photo of himself smiling in a rehab bed next to his wife, Elaine Chao amid a 2-month absence.
The latest photo was dated Sunday, July 26.
He’s dead, Jim.
A happy ending.
He is alive. He can pose smiling for a picture. His Missus seeing that he’s taken care of. He is retiring before the end of the year.
We’ve had at least 2 Presidents (Wilson and Biden) with badly impaired cognition. So I’m confident that the Republic will still stand, even if one of our United States Senators has lost something off his fast ball.
Hopefully he recovers enough to be able to spend a few peaceful years in retirement.

This guy should take a medical retirement and allow a useful Senator to be elected/appointed.

Are we going to get to see him now that he is putatively at home? If he is still alive he is not likely to actually attend the Senate and he has passed off the cutoff date for replacement. The result will likely be one less senate vote for the Republicans and one less voice for obstruction.

This is ALL about a statement about the SAVE America Act, directed at Trump, who will now, IMHO, be acting accordingly.
The path to SAVE has been closed for at least a half dozen reasons, not related to Mitch, and this reason from Mitch just seals the deal.
The Sinate goes on a 6 week recess this coming Monday. About 10 Senators have come on record opposed to recess, in favor of SAVE - just so that we have the scorecard. Ergo, about 40 Sinators opposed to recess. Opposed to SAVE.
Paths and doors are closing quickly to prevent SAVE from having any meaningful impact on 11/3.
The pump is getting primed for Trump's next actions.
If he is alive he has attained his supreme goal. His seat will not be occupied in the Senate and that will make the Republican slim majority a bit more iffy. Like establishment Republicans in general he believes that Republicans are not proper as a ruling majority. The Democrats are felt to be the natural rulers with Republicans as the Nominal Opposition.
Dead or alive the fossil should retire.
Way too many posters seem to be in a contest to see who can post the snarkiest most inappropriate comment first followed by dozens of emojis laughing at their own comments. It is almost like there is a prize to be "The first worst comment".
I suspect some are trolls but some show membership over many years in their profiles. IMO The trend parallels the lack of taste many social media sites have developed over the past few years.

KY Dem Gov did not his threat TO IGNORE the new law and appoint a fellow Dem.
He plans to run for Pres and 2028 and wanted this controversy.
