Mark Ruffalo took a shot at Tesla.
"I mean… they are not well made cars," he wrote on X on Wednesday while sharing an Autoblog article about a preliminary NHTSA investigation into Tesla.
Instead, the actor, best-known for playing Bruce Banner in "The Avengers," said he prefers an EV from a Korean automaker that built its name on budget-friendly vehicles.
"Having tucked into a KIA EV now and having driven a Tesla," Ruffalo said. "I have to say the Kia is hands down a better car and feels luxury compared to a Tesla."
Ruffalo has a long history with electric vehicles and Tesla. In 2012, he said he had placed a deposit on a Model S and described himself as number 6,345 on the car's waiting list. He also tweeted in support of the automaker in 2014 when New York State considered banning Tesla because it sold directly to consumers.
The actor's views of Tesla CEO Elon Musk have since soured.
Tensions between Musk and Ruffalo surfaced in 2022, when the actor said Musk was destroying his credibility after taking over Twitter.
Ruffalo also campaigned for Kamala Harris in 2024, while Musk spent at least $270 million supporting Donald Trump and other Republicans during that election cycle.

No interest in either oversized electric golf cart.
Leave them for liberals and deviants.
Does this guy ever STFU?
Very impressive
A few years ago I let a neighbor know one of his head lights was out on his jeep. He said he was aware but it was going to cost him $1K+ to replace it.
I had a 2000 Kia Sportage. It was a tough little car. At about 85K miles on it I got an engine light and took it to the dealer. They called the next day to tell me the block was cracked. I panicked a bit and asked how much that would cost to fix.
Nothing, covered under their warranty. I esssentially got a new engine at 85K
My Harley mechanic tried to get me to put on a Korean made tire. I told him if he EVER put anything from Korea on my Harley it better be 19 and leave a wet spot on the seat.
They have to improve their engine longevity to catch up to Toyota.
And????? Does anybody care??
And...? This is meaningful because?
We own a KIA. My wife demanded we get her a new car (her younger sister bought a new car. Jealousy ensued). It was during the p[l]andemic and due to the supply chain disruptions then the only car she could find was a new Kia. We paid top dollar $31,000 cash. It’s been a nice car. Too many whiz-bang features for my taste. I like my 2015 Passat. About 150K miles on it. Burns a bit of oil - as they are known to do. But a very steady ride.
I’ve always thought of Ruffalo as a Yugo kind of guy.
Watch out for the ducks, Mark!
Don’t want either. I’ll take a Toyota Highlander used with low miles please.
Mark Ruffalo is not alone in saying that Tesla makes junk. A lot automobile people with far more credibility than Mark Ruffalo say the same thing.
Yep my 26 Stoptage Xline is da bomb for the Money!-)
Well, bless his heart...
Musk Derangement Syndrome is an ugly condition to have.
He likes the KIA because he thinks it’s made in NORTH Korea.
Kia, because Musk dontchaknow
