Tucker Carlson unveils 10-point manifesto amid third-party speculation

Tucker Carlson used a highly promoted livestream Wednesday to unveil a 10-point vision for America — defining the worldview of a breakaway MAGA faction increasingly at odds with President Trump.

Why it matters: After vowing last month to "help build a third party," Carlson fueled further speculation this weekend by hosting MAGA dissidents at his home in Maine, where they urged him to run for president in 2028.

The former Fox News host stopped short of a formal launch, instead presenting the manifesto as the foundation for "whatever comes next" — a new political order he said could "find all kinds of expressions."

Zoom in: Carlson said any successor to America's faltering political system should begin with a shared understanding of what the country "should be," which he distilled into 10 points.

Pretty obvious he is getting paid to poison this country’s political process and shape the outcome for his puppeteers.

Pretty obvious, indeed!!

The conclusion by Axios -

Carlson has become the intellectual hub for a small but vocal faction of MAGA exiles who say Trump abandoned the "America First" agenda by launching the Iran war..."
By neutralizing a nation with a rapidly growing nuclear weapon capability that has publicly vowed to kill the Great Satan?

...mishandling the Epstein files
When any mishandling was the result of protecting the privacy of innocent citizens?

...and allowing Israel to exert too much influence over U.S. policy.
When Isreal was most likely our only ally in the theatre with the inclination to effectively assist in our effort?

In the real world if you want to control people you do not give them money.

That just rents them for a period of time—at best.

Blackmail is ownership for life—and is how real control is done.

no president has ever “won” the popular vote.

it is an artificial construct manually added together by people primarily in the media who think it is something.

Every president has won a majority vote of the group of people designated by the constitution as the electorate, either the electoral college or the House of Representatives.

every world series I calculate which team scored the most runs during the course of the series. But guess what, the winner was never determined by who scored the most runs, the statistic is an artificial construct.

Erdo my second statement in the post you replied to “second money is not the only kind of payment people seek”

You are supporting my position in that reply

The obsession with Epstein is kind of creepy. It appeals to the chronically online types
Basically agree with “ending immigration” the Ai part is meaningless though.

I’m not impressed with this list of 10 ideas. They range from good ideas to nonsense. Tucker certainly should not be the one we rely on for ideas if this is what he comes up with.

The white pill is that this change is inevitable. The young right wingers are all America First. The post-WW2 narrative brainwashing that we all received through movies, TV, mass media, etc... didn’t take on the youth.

One day soon we will be free of our globalist shackles and will never again be forced to fight wars and conduct global diplomacy for the benefit of other countries.

The MAGA voters did not ask for the war in Iran.

Trump failed to make an argument for the war.

It reminds us of our previous adventure in Iraq during the Bush Administration.

Trump copied and pasted the exact same argument from 20 years ago.

I find your position totally unconvincing.

Worse—it is a form of political commentary that could lead to false accusations against anybody and everybody.

Even the worst politician or political actor often acts for a multitude of reasons—and claiming it is all due to bribery is totally unpersuasive.

If you want to disagree with Carlson on policy go for it. Just play clean.

If he wants to run for president, he should do so as a Republican and stop messing around with third party talk that only helps Democrats and Communists (but I repeat myself).

As long as he does that, I’ll assume he’s working for the Left sotto voce and is therefore the enemy.

I admit it—Carlson does flash red on the gaydar screen.

Folks should be focusing on blackmail and not bribery.

The oil-rich Middle Eastern states can buy lots of influence with some of their very serious money. As did oil-rich Russia when they “influenced” Ukrainian politics prior to the 2014 land grabs. Tucker’s mysterious turn from warning about Islam to adamantly defending Islam does raise one’s eyebrows. What we do know is that if he is not being bought then he has gone completely nuts.

Motivation matters, bribery, blackmail or influence peddling, all the same and Carlson is caught up in some of that. To refuse to discuss something unless it is 100% proven is to prevent ever bringing up charges against anyone for any behavior.

There is more than enough out there to speculate on this, you just want to not allow any part of the conversation to occur as far as Carlson’s corruption is involved, that is dishonest.

“Tucker is not a politician he’ll leave that to Massie and MTG in all likelihood.”

Two politicians who can’t win. He would have to be politically stupid to do so.

And George Conway. They’re gonna need a bigger a-hole table.

Wonder if they know Trump isn’t running in 2028. Do they hate JD and Marco too??

Frickin vanity project.
