What if the current unrest in the country leads to a second American Civil War? How would that play out in the modern era? Let’s allow ourselves a daydream — or nightmare — about how it might go.
Granted, there wouldn’t be battles like those that were fought in Gettysburg or Vicksburg, but it’s conceivable each side would come up with their own flag design, since symbols are essential. The Right might construct a “freedom” flag, which would stand in stark contrast to the flag of the Left: a raised fist decorated with small anarcho-feminist and transgender icons — with the middle finger extended.
The first shot of the new civil war will not be fired at Fort Sumter, but could ring out during one of the nation’s many anti-ICE demonstrations. Leftist warriors will drive their SUVs and Honda vehicles into ICE agents with a sense of furious self-righteousness, only to find themselves instantly transported to the afterlife.
Consumed by their love of open borders, blue state migrant activists could ignore reports of rape gangs pillaging their daughters and granddaughters. Some will urge tolerance as they chalk the violent incidents up to “valuable cultural differences,” the same way they will dismiss the execution-style murders of their gay sons and friends by Berlin-style ISIS killers.
The Left will be taken by surprise when President Trump might declare martial law. They could long for the old days when the worst punishment they received was a blast of pepper spray or a slap on the wrist.
In blue cities, the Left could meet openly in Quaker meeting houses, Unitarian churches, and city-owned buildings. Formerly benign groups like Nuns on the Bus might be renamed Nuns with Guns, as the streets of New York and Philadelphia could become like armed camps.

Have you been living in a cave your entire life, devoid of history books? The left can be very violent and always has been. The body count is in the high millions.
Humans don't need violence lessons as they are inherently violent.

The US military is teeny tiny non factor in a war involving 300 million people spread across a continent.
CWII would be interesting because 99.9% of the Left are Godless. They’re being guided by powerful demonic forces, yet our side has the ULTIMATE supernatural force. Simply calling upon that name would sow chaos and division into the enemy’s ranks. I hate calling fellow Americans “enemies”, but this is what the Left has brought upon themselves. They’ve lost what it means to be an American: enjoying open dialogue, living in peace with your neighbors, and assimilating to American values.

If such a scene would ever occur. The Church-going Right would have to achier a Crusader mindset or they’re done.
It would fracture, same as last time.
But Red State Americans have guns and know how to use them.

I will note that the Ukrainians are or have made extreme progress in the destruction of Russian economic necessities using drones. The Russian rifles and tanks and artillery at the front have been rendered useless. When taking a piss, a Russian soldier is endangering his very life from omnipresent the killer drone
The left will be concentrated in their City State redoubts and vulnerable to attacks on live giving infrastructure from afar.
What drone-producing facilities are located outside of cities? What facilities for producing epoxies, aluminum stock, or electronics exist outside of cities? Machine shops?
It is more likely that the drones will be going the other way.
So do the blue state people.
The way I would see it playing out would be somewhat akin to how WWI started. Some politician would be assassinated that would so thoroughly upset one side that retaliations against politicians on the other side would commence.
The government (i.e, deep state), being corrupt, would side with the left and try to invoke marshal law and round up the right. There would be significant defections from a military that has a significant population of fighters who would see their family and friends being put in gulags and executed. This would turn into a morass where neither side could win outright, much like Ukraine.
Our enemies would not sit idly by. They would arm the left as we did in Ukraine, and provide troops as the Norks did for Russia in the Ukraine. Our true allies would begin to attempt to do the same. Skirmishes would happen outside our borders. WW3 would ensue.
Old treaties would become void, and plagues like COVID would be released, along with boxes of infection carrying ticks and mosquitos. It would become the first all out biological war.
In the end, the US would lose at least 3/4 of its population, and the world would probably lose at least half its population.
Foreign governments would attempt to take over the US government but ultimately fail because those that remain would continue assassinations, guerilla attacks and refuse to comply, kind of like in the movie “Red Dawn”.
Eventually, the US would go back to self-governance, but no longer be a world power, with a population of maybe 50-60 million across the country at best. There would probably be no real “world” powers in the end, as every country would have numerous uninhabitable radiated cities. Because of that, it would be those that live outside the cities in most countries that would ultimately come to power.
In that country folk are usually not as hard left as city folk, and most are the more conservative in their countries, ultimately, most governments would seek to become more like the pre-20th century America.
Tolerance of far-left ideas would end, because the world would now see how ultimately destructive they are. New constitutions would be created to ensure term limits and restrict how long anyone can work for the governments in attempts to prevent another deep state.
Somewhere during all this, Jesus would return.
The states mat secede, but the multi faction groups will bun the blue cities first. It will be easy to identify the enemies of those of the DSA side: all blacks, those skinned runts of ANTIFA, AWFL types who will be screaming till they die, and the Alla Akbars who’s I’ll be throwing rocks or wielding machetes and knives.
On the other side, will be people like me, a trained sniper who will blend in to what ever surround me and pick off the obvious leaders, then work down the line. Like Carlos the Great, I have his training, patience, and willingness to do my duty.
To successfully engage the male Muslims, shoot the burka wearing bitches first. Always know your Enid’s weakness.
It's not a shooting war in the traditional sense, but it's a battle over control of the government. The left seems to be fighting to eliminate the opposition, while the right (the ones currently in power) are clueless as to the objective of the other side. They think they can work together and hold onto their sectors of influence.
