Ex-NYC Mayor Eric Adams mercilessly heckled as he tries to pitch Wisconsin town on AI data center: video

They didn’t love his swagger.

Former Mayor Eric Adams got heckled and shouted down during a Wisconsin meeting as he tried to pitch locals on an AI data center, a wild video shows.

The excruciating video — first reported by Hell Gate — shows the one-term mayor awkwardly introduce himself to the Wisconsin Rapids crowd, with his name met by an avalanche of boos during the Saturday meeting.

“You belong in prison!” one attendee shouted, referencing Adams’ controversially dismissed federal corruption case.

The cheesehead kerfuffle is the latest post-mayoralty headscratcher from Adams, who opted not to run for a second term in 2025 after a scandal-plagued four years in office.

Since leaving Gracie Mansion, Adams became an Albanian citizen and has been the subject of bonkers Chinese AI slop videos and watched his close adviser Frank Carone get hit with a corruption indictment of his own.

The flamboyant former mayor has also embarked on a new venture as a “business development consultant,” hocking a portfolio that includes green rebar and fire retardant.

He recently bragged to The Real Deal about his portfolio and 80% close rate helping firms sell everything from cleaning services to health monitoring technology.

But Adams’ pitchman prowess apparently faltered in Wisconsin, where he spoke on behalf of PNK Group, an industrial engineering and construction company hoping to build a data center on 209 acres along the Wisconsin River.

The site was a former paper mill that closed in 2020, taking 900 local jobs with it.

“The cheesehead kerfuffle...”

And you didn’t think to ping me? I had to find this all by myself? ;)

P.S. And good on ‘Whiskey Rapids,’ as we call it here.

“Whiskey Rapids Saloon
Whiskey Rapids Saloon is a bar located in downtown Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, known for its historic building and welcoming atmosphere.

The establishment is housed in a structure built in 1906, which originally housed Smith Hardware and later operated as various venues including Goose’s Night Club. Owned by Cali and Chris Steckbauer since 2014, the saloon features a blend of old and new decor, including a photo of the original building, and aims to attract a diverse clientele ranging from long-time regulars to a younger crowd. It is situated in the area locally referred to as the “Barmuda Triangle” of Wisconsin Rapids.

The saloon has a $$ price range and maintains an estimated health score of 100 out of 100. Reviews indicate that 86% of customers recommend the business, with patrons praising the selection and the friendly, non-threatening environment. The venue is popular for afternoon poker games and evening socializing, with the atmosphere shifting to attract a 40-something crowd later in the day.”

I’m putting that place on my Bucket List.

Wisconsin has only ONE town with a ‘cheesy’ name and that’s ‘Colby, Wisconsin.’ The CHEESE is named after the town because it was first produced there in 1885. Colby Cheese. I’m sure you’re familiar with it. Kinda bland, IMHO.

Well, that’s interesting.

It’s also interesting that a failed New York City mayor thinks he has any pull in far-off Wisconsin.

🤔

Kinda bland, IMHO.

Colby has a nice flavor, usually melts nicely, but pairs well with crackers.

If you find it bland, well Colby-Jack is a thing. Good cheese is evidence of an All-Powerful and Good Creator.
