I took the Metro North train into Grand Central station from South Norwalk, CT, then the S Shuttle to Times Square, got to the building easily enough.

20 people showed up. We were split into QA and dev groups. Of the 20, 15 were Indian. The guy running the shiite show was Indian, wearing a black suit jacket, dark blue pants and white sneakers. Bad sign. In the QA group there was a black guy and a guy in aa wheelchair. I knew I was screwed. He handed an assignment to four of us then went to get more. Unprepared. Bad sign. We waited for 30 minutes, still nothing. I got up and left. The leader approached me in the lobby. He asked what was going on.

I said, “Interviews are two way streets. I interview you as a potential employer. You interview me as a potential employee. You failed the interview. I’ve been doing software for 40 years. I’ve never seen such a clown show in my entire career.” Then I left.
