Two-thirds of Americans believe the war in Iran has not been worth fighting.
A new AP-NORC poll found that roughly two-thirds of U.S. adults say the war that began Feb. 28 is not worthwhile. The sentiment is shared by the vast majority of Democrats (87%) and independents (68%), as well as 37% of Republicans.
The AP-NORC poll, conducted July 23-27, surveyed 1,165 adults and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

Americans will commit to fighting on to victory in a war. But there must be more than just a good reason for the war. There must also be, for the lack of a better term, a focusing point.
Here’s what I mean. In WW2, the focusing point was Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor rallied the nation. Americans supported FDR, and for the long haul
There is no focusing point for this Iran conflict. None. You can fairly argue that most Americans are not seeing the big picture here. No matter. Support will collapse for this war. It’s inevitable.
Iran has been a belligerent sponsor of terrorism for DECADES. Previous administrations, including Reagan, have treated them with kid gloves, which only encouraged them in their belligerence.
It was finally time to take the gloves off.
According to Netanyahu, Iran has been on the verge of having nukes for the past 30 plus years.

Right now the Midterms are more important than the Iranians acquiring nuclear weapons. We were supposed to "contain" them after we destroyed their nuclear facilities last year.
But there's a chance that the Democrats may win big in November and from there, they can impeach Trump and his administration if the votes are there.

I was FOR the Iraq war, with the assumption we would actually do it right. As soon as it became nation building, I turned against it.

And then the douchebags posting it and supporting it get fake indignation and hurt, saying things like “I’m only the messenger, don’t attack me!”
Of course, the truth is, we wouldn’t attack these jackass “messengers” if they ever delivered anything OTHER than TDS inspired content.
They all have a pattern of this behavior.
How did that focus point (9-11) work out for Iraq?
At this point, Republicans is all that matters. Who cares what Democrats think?

You'd better care what Independents think. Neither Republicans nor MAGA can win future elections without support from Independents.
Only 2/3’s of people oppose it? I’d think it would be over 90%.

In my experience, "independents" are mostly Democrats who are upset that the Party isn't left ENOUGH.
They called Obama "too conservative," for crying out loud!
Imagine that mentality with a nuclear device and the capability of delivering it.
But Trump and his supporters say this is not a war. Which is why, they say, no Congressional declaration of war is necessary.
WW2 was the last time Congress declared a war. It was the last official war. Since then, Americans have been told that this or that conflict is "not really" a war.
So you can't really call on Americans to act as if this was a war, can you?

If you got out and actually witnessed them handing out provisional ballots to a mob at the County recorders Office, or been at the DMV when they hand out ID and motor votor to illegal aliens or green carders then you would know something about polls conducted by the MSM

That is an excellent question.
As you noted, 9/11 was a focus point. I’d say it was on the same scale as Pearl Harbor. Unfortunately, George W. Bush was no FDR.
FDR’s goal: Crush Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany.
Idiot Bush’s goal: Nation-build, while telling everyone that “Islam is peace.”
And we see the same cowards on this threat (assuming they are indeed cowards and not just people infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome) who pee their pants and insist:
“Oh, we can’t do anything about it now, the mid-terms are coming up” or “Oh, we can’t do anything about it now, the Presidential election is coming up”.
Disgusting short sighted cowardice is how I see it, it it isn’t just TDS.
There is ALWAYS a mid-term election or a Presidential election on the near horizon. And for the people leaning on that excuse not to take action, when a Democrat is in the White House and will not use their power, those people feel empowered to stand up and yell that SOMETHING has to be done about Iran, knowing full well it won’t get done. And when there is a Republican in the Oval Office, they revert again to the ostensible fear that any action will hurt the chances in an election.
Never mind that it is an uphill battle in ANY election to maintain power in Congress or the Presidency.
How about we DO something when it is required rather than wringing our hands in fear that an election might be lost? That takes courage. Real courage and backbone to do WHAT is needed, WHEN it is needed.
Thank God we have a man in charge who understands it needs to get done, and finally has done what has been needed, and doesn’t fall back on the craven excuses every non-Democrat President has used, and as for the Democrat Presidents, they didn’t have any “craven” excuses. Presidents like Clinton, Obama, and Biden were fully onboard with an Iran that possessed nuclear weaponry

To get to 90%+ (weapons grade) might be one-third of a critical mass per week. That’s four to five weeks per bomb, I think.
And Iranians need to have enough for several bombs which might theoretically (or actually) be placed in key American cities so the USA doesn’t dare retaliate if DC is blown up.
An attack on DC not likely before a few months at a minimum.
This is from the Star Ledger so it has to be discounted. However there is a real sense it was a wasted effort since the IRGC are still in power. How much hardware was destroyed isnt what people care about.
