Four teenagers were killed when a car hit a parked train during a brief police chase after fleeing a traffic stop on Chicago's Southwest Side early Sunday morning.
Chicago police said it began when officers in the city's 22nd District, which includes Morgan Park, Beverly, and Mount Greenwood communities, saying someone pointed a gun at them while they were driving
Need I look?
Yogi???
I’d like to see what kind of guardrail that bridge has.
Any damage to the train?
Pointing a gun at the cops from your vehicle is not going to make a good day for you.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the victims as Cristofer Lopez Montan, 19, of Woodstock, Yuarem Garcia-Pena, 18, of Woodstock, Yaritza Martinez Villeda, 17, of Crystal Lake, and Vanessa Morales, 14, of Palatine.

Another example of how committing one crime often leads to committing another one, far bigger and more serious than the first. Instead of obeying the lights and siren, the driver hits the gas, and the needless chase is ON!
Everyone knows to expect this reaction from Cops.
Nope, Brown Bears instead of Black Bears.
Ahhh.
Teens, yes. But not the usual teens.
Illegals
Crime reduction that works.
Let the Lawsuit begin! There is no doubt the grieving families have been called on by every bottom feeder lawyer in Chicago. Everyone will be sued...
The driver drove off the space between the two spans, not the bridge itself.

It looks like there's been construction in that location. I wouldn't be surprised if the contractor gets dragged into a lawsuit for not having barriers or a dirt berm in place.
The guy who jumped out of his car, and then jumped off the bridge into the river, had a much better idea.
(1) Benjamin Crump
(2) Photos from 1st grade
(3) $5 million settlement for each "teen"
The driver’s parents missed a few key bits of info while raising there kid.
Like respect lives of passengers in your car, for starters.
IMO the only one who is responsible is the driver. Chose to flee, etc etc. No regard for occupants, nor self.
