Youngest black professor in Cambridge history set to publish extraordinary life story...as he's now accused of copying others' work
Daily Mail.com ^ | 7/24/2026 | RICHARD KAY, SENIOR EDITOR-AT-LARGE

No Hollywood scriptwriter would have dared pen such an outrageously unlikely plot. A boy of immigrant parents raised on a south London council estate, who couldn't speak, read or write for most of his childhood, overcomes such astonishing odds to become, at 37, the youngest black professor at the University of Cambridge.

Ever since, life's glittering prizes in the shape of honorary degrees and academic accolades have cascaded down on Jason Arday along with lavish and high-minded praise.

Yet this week, a fellow don has pulled the rug from under those achievements in an excoriating assassination of Arday's work and character – more of which later.

Remember the black women president of Harvard. Many of these people are simply cheats. And the education world is too happy to hire and promote African cheats. And frankly, they promote cheats of every race.

It was cruel what they did to this kid.

The fake biography they invented for him was SO absurd, it was just begging for an Emperor’s New Clothes resolution, and now he’s getting it.

He shouldn’t have gone along with it - but his rise to elite academic status was dreamed up, planned out, and executed by others.

I feel bad for him.

Is a south London council estate the equivalent of Governement funded section 8 housing projects in the USA? Complete with free utilities so residents may leave doors and wondows open in Winter rather than bother to adjust their thermostats?

Just you wait. The word “plagiarized” will be redefined here to put this guy just over the line into acceptable behavior.

By the way, the article says that he is “an exceptional scholar of race, inequality and education”. Well, there you go. Three fake fields of study.

That alone should be a red flag.

Another Obama wannabee.

And such a "clean-cut" young Black man who doesn't speak "Ghetto," too!

Really a shame!

With AI and the way that is heading, I think they won’t even have to copy and paste anymore.

'To this day,' he continues, 'everything I do is scrutinised and challenged in a way that almost never happens to my white colleagues.'

Of course, he immediately and axiomatically played the race card when challenged.

All of his "achievements," accolades, career advancement and promotions were due to DEI policies.

Reminds me of another fraud named Jason - Jason Blair on whom the NY Times piled accolades, praise, etc. until he was outted:

"Jayson Blair is the former New York Times reporter who committed widespread journalistic fraud, including plagiarism and fabrication, leading to his resignation in May 2003. An internal investigation revealed he had falsified or plagiarized content in at least 36 of 73 national stories written since October 2002, often filing dispatches from locations he never visited."

Zackly. No one gets that far without going along and getting along. But it was all just one long con to build him up to tear him down. Sad.

“Computer scientist Larry Tesler invented the copy, cut, and paste commands. He developed the functionality alongside colleague Tim Mott in 1973 while working on the Gypsy word processor at Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).

Tesler was inspired by the old-school manual editing method where people physically cut sections of printed text and glued them elsewhere.
Copy and Paste
Later, after Steve Jobs recruited Tesler to Apple, these commands were famously popularized in the early 1980s on the Apple Lisa and Macintosh computers”

“Ever since, life’s glittering prizes in the shape of honorary degrees and academic accolades have cascaded down on Jason Arday along with lavish and high-minded praise.”

Reminds me of the comment Rush made regarding Donovan McNabb and how “desirous” the press was to elevate him to the level of a great black quarterback....

“”Sorry to say this, I don’t think he’s been that good from the get-go,” Limbaugh
said. “I think what we’ve had here is a little social concern in
the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback
do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a
lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn’t
deserve. The defense carried this team.”

Some best-selling books, posing as memoirs, have earned all kinds of awards because they seem to show the author’s heroic overcoming of tremendous obstacles. I remember reading these books and just knowing in my heart that they were FICTION.

When I read a book like that, and then find out that the whole thing was a fabrication, I feel CHEATED.
