Some of the X accounts pledging to oppose Vice President JD Vance and back Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the 2028 Republican primary appear to be run from outside the United States by people who are not American voters, according to a report published Friday.
The finding appeared in a Washington Post report on a wave of online attacks against Vance that his allies describe as a coordinated “op.” Detractors have adopted a “Never Vance” slogan and flooded social media over the past week, the outlet said, with much of the traffic tied to accounts of murky origin.

The attacks come as Vance continues to face fallout from his July 15 appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he described himself as a “reasonable moderate” and said he was being targeted by a foreign-funded influence campaign. Vance pointed to a Time report on a pro-Israel operation run by a former Trump campaign official and said paid influencers were coming after him “in dishonest ways.”

The article covers a lot of ground and I can’t improve upon it. I will add, however, that Vance also can’t pronounce laissez-faire correctly. That’s pretty cringe.
It’s important to remember that Vance was chummy and worked on regulatory legislation with Sens. Warren, Brown, and Durbin - who are enemies of capitalism and a ghastly trio to boot.
As I wrote back then, this populist anti-“Wall Street” rhetoric coming from a former VC guy with a Yale degree is comical. Opportunist is more like it. Blah blah blah. What next, will he join an Occupy encampment?
I’m not saying I’m for Rubio. But Vance’s should be yellow carded for his economic views.
What is Rubio’s executive experience? Did he at least run a lemonade stand and make a small profit? Sorry, I can not go along with handing reins of biggest economy in the world to a person whe never signed paychecks on the front.

The FICA financial test would help screen for better people.
Those would don’t want to pay to can go home and stay home for 10 years to get an amnesty. They could then apply the proper way for admission.
Having to pay say $30,000 to $50,000 over 10 years would send a message to others to not jump the line.
Persons getting amnesty would be barred from getting citizenship, ever.
To ensure the bar sticks, persons paying more than $20,000 in 1040 Total Tax in the tax year after enactment could apply for and get a contractually agreed, legally binding five-year federal income tax holiday if any person getting amnesty under the act gets citizenship.
Rubio is I believe by far the better candidate. He’s a proven, known quantity, and seems genuine. Vance... there’s something about him that just puts me off a bit; he sometimes comes off seeming a bit phony. I could see him in a cabinet position, but not in the Oval Office.

Again, whether you agree or disagree with our negotiation, or whether you agree or disagree with the decision to launch the campaign Epic Fury to begin with, the idea that Donald Trump is being blackmailed is crazy to me because again, I see the way that he makes decisions. There are the MOU and ceasefire follies and Vance had best admit they were mistakes if he wishes to get back into the good graces of many.
I remember when Rubio “accidentally” used his Florida Republican Party Credit Card to pave his driveway, pay for a Vegas Family Reunion, etc.
