Leftist women show a striking tolerance for infidelity that sets them apart from their conservative counterparts.
In 2022, a groundbreaking poll was conducted by the Survey Center on American Life. Later, it was analyzed by the Institute for Family Studies. Only 36 percent of liberal women say it is “always wrong” for a woman to have an extramarital affair. That compares to 71 percent of conservative women who condemn infidelity outright. Even more telling, these same liberal women apply a blatant double standard: they are far more lenient toward female cheating than male cheating.
This is not nuance. It is a moral loophole that excuses betrayal when it suits lefty women.
General Social Survey data spanning nearly three decades confirms that the behavior matches the attitude. Liberals, including women, report significantly higher rates of extramarital sex than conservatives, even after accounting for age, income, education, and other factors. Liberals were nearly twice as likely to admit infidelity. These patterns reveal a worldview that treats personal commitments as flexible and conditional rather than ironclad.
This moral flexibility collides with another hard reality: leftist women have turned politics into a non-negotiable dealbreaker in dating.
Pew Research Center data from 2020 showed something stark. Seventy-one percent of single Democrats and Democratic-leaning women said they probably or definitely would not date someone who voted for Donald Trump. The 2023 American Perspectives Survey reinforced this, finding most committed partisans on the left reject partners from the opposing side far more aggressively than in past generations.
For non-leftist men living in deep-blue cities, metros, and states, the pool of compatible women shrinks dramatically. Young women in those areas lean heavily left-wing and they filter ruthlessly for ideological alignment.

Their future can be summed up as, "Meow, meow, meow."

And they are. Atherosclerosis of the thinking apparatus has set in, and they are no longer capable of independent thought. Because they are permanent residents of their particular echo chamber, they merely repeat the last opinion they heard, of Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Whoopee Goldberg, or Jasmine Crockett. To them, Kamala Harris made perfect sense, no matter how garbled the word salad turned out to be.
Hence RINOs.
There is a philosophical divide that goes beyond what party you vote for, normally.
It is also highly broken down by demographics AND self perception.
The self perceived “have nots,” even if they have health care, a car, smartphone, Internet, AC, are overweight, and have an average of 2 color TVs in their home, will vote left.
The people who feel successful, empowered and free, even if they do not have great material wealth and are technically poor, will vote right.
There are independent thinkers, but MOST people are just part of this demographic and self identity herd.
One of the reasons I gave up trying to find a wife again. It’s very, very (VERY) ugly out there.
That reminds me. Men are better judges of a woman's beauty than women are.
Women's discernment is situational. For instance:
If a woman has a single friend who never gets asked out, she will try to fix you up with her. "You two have sooo much in common, and she's really pretty."
But if you're out with your wife or date and a woman like this walks in, she'll say something like, "I'm so glad I don't have freckles. She looks awful."
Well, I agree it should be higher, but you have to factor in the “societal answer” factor where respondents lean from their unbiased answer in the direction they think the pollster wants. And women are much more influenced by this than men.
I expect the unbiased answer is probably about 10 points higher at least and I’ll add that I’d like to see the wording of the nuanced response adjacent to it.
“If you found out your filthy, disgusting husband has been with 14 different women in the last month and refused to sleep with you, would that justify you seeking another man?”
Of course it’s not anything like that caricature, but if you nuance it the right way it can fell “ok” to move over a notch.

It’s not surprising. From what I see the great majority of liberals including men have few morals, have little conscience, lie, cheat, steal and think the haves should support the have nots.

Your step mom is correct. The reason is because they CAN IF they choose to. Any half way decent woman can pick up a guy and get laid IF she wants to. Even ugly women can get laid if they want to.
