A Tennessee mother shot and killed a man she found hiding under her 13-year-old daughter’s bed, according to cops — and now she’s facing first-degree murder charges.
Kendra Scott was arrested after police found a 20-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound in the back of his head outside her Memphis home just before 2 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Post.
Her lawyer called the situation, “the worst nightmare of any parent of a 13-year-old girl.”
The 36-year-old mother told officers she came home and “saw a dude under my kids’ bed.”
“And I did what I had to do,” she said, per the affidavit.
The deadly incident unfolded after Scott’s teen daughter told cops she invited the man, Rodderius Morton, to the family’s home at around 1 a.m., according to the court document and Scott’s lawyer.
An enraged Scott started pounding on the front door and bellowing, “Who’s at my house?!” when she arrived home around 30 minutes later, the affidavit states.
Her unidentified daughter grew terrified when she noticed her mom was allegedly holding a gun.
Scott had said that if she “sees a boy in my house I will put a hole in his ass,” the daughter later told cops, according to the affidavit.
The teen eventually let her mother inside, where Scott allegedly found Morton hiding under her bed, the court doc states.
“Get out of my house bitch,” she allegedly screamed, and followed Morton out the front door.

Low IQ, poor decision making skills, no common sense, little or no real education or knowledge.
That covers the 13 year old minor, the mother, 36 and the 20 year old dead man.......

Yeah, if the 20yo had been in the house uninvited and she plugged him, she would be fine. That he was invited there by her daughter, and that she shot him outside, as he was trying to get away ... aren’t going to help her. You can’t argue that someone doing their best to get away from you is an imminent threat your life or health.
Any twenty year old that winds up under a thirteen year old’s bed needs killing. Mom was just taking out the trash. She shouldn’t have been worried about having to clean the carpet. Would have been cheaper and less hassle than paying a lawyer and going to prison.
She should get a medal, not arrested for murder...

I’m from Memphis and no way this guy didn’t know she was young. She looks like a 13 year old. If you go into any young girls room, it will be obvious she is younfg with the stuffed animals on the bed and other thing young.

I am from Memphis. Word on the street here is he was trash talking the mother and telling the daughter to come with him and to ignore the mother.
Running your mouth when a crazy woman has a gun pointed at you is stupid.
She killed him after he left the house, so she can’t use the Castle Doctrine as a defense, nor any threat to her daughter. Unless she can show he threatened her outside the house, she is vulnerable to a murder charge.
