Schumer dodges questions after bombshell report alleges Dem senator had relationships with House staffers
Fox News ^ | 7/16/26 | Alex Miller

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., declined to weigh in on the latest scandal to hit a member of his party, instead focusing on his planned diatribe against President Donald Trump’s primetime address Thursday.

The New York Post reported that Sen. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., engaged in sexual relationships with at least two Democratic House staffers who did not work for him while he was a member of the House. According to House rules, members are not barred from having relationships with staffers who work outside their office.

Sources told the outlet it was believed the relationships happened while the lawmaker was unmarried.

When asked to weigh in on the latest scandal involving Gallego, Schumer mentioned his planned speech railing against Trump’s scheduled address on foreign interference in the 2020 election Thursday night and told Fox News Digital, "I’m not — I’m focused on this right now."

It’s the latest bad headline to hit Gallego, who has been in the conversation for a 2028 presidential bid. The Post reported that Gallego admitted to the two relationships, which were both with aides to Texas Democrats.

When asked by reporters about the allegations, Gallego said, "I’m not going to engage in gossip."

Gallego's office did not immediately return a request for comment.

Gallego has come under scrutiny for his relationship with former Rep. Eric Swalwell, who resigned from the House earlier this year after being accused by several women of sexual assault, rape and harassment.

That’s quite an adventure, a one of a kind experience.
I wonder if Teresa knows much about all those girls
he ‘dated’?
On the other hand, she may have vetted and referred them herself, similar to what Hillary (yes, that Hillary) was said to do while Bill was a senator.

My guess is that most to nearly all of ‘em are compromised, and it’s just a question of whether or not it’s a good time to expose them. But of course somebody has got to step aside if they’re going to move up another pliable useful idiot like AOC.

Get rid of the Chicongo Son of a Cartel pig and his craze poodle sex life. He’s not an Arizonan. He’s one of the Prixsters boyz. He already dumped one “pardner” to marry a more politician level trophy wife. Now he’s searching again. Fire his ass and have him take his buddy Mark “The Space Cadet” Kelly with him. Maybe he, Kelly and their pal, Swallowswell, can start their own treehouse club haram. Gallegos is a pig. My home state of Arizona sure went to hell politically after I left for Texas. They even have a shemale porker for governor.

Gallego said, "I’m not going to engage in gossip."

Minnie Pearl to friends on Hee Haw: "I'm never one to say something about someone unless it's something good and, believe me, this is really good."

Democrat bigwigs seem to have a habit of treating their staffers the way feudal lords treated the daughters of their serfs - droit de seigneur and all that. “It’s good to be the king”.

Gallego was one who got his seat through fraud. That’s why he pressed Markwayne Mullin so hard to say 2020 wasn’t stolen. Mullin was the one Congress-critter who responded to Gary Berntsen’s evidence to actually prevent the intended theft of 2024, according to Emerald Robinson and Patrick Byrne. Byrne paid for security for Berntsen’s Venezuelan whistleblowers and has forced Dominion’s Eric Coomer to finally admit (in a sworn statement for Coomer’s defamation suit against Byrne) that he lied when he swore that the Dominion HQ server in Serbia couldn’t access the systems in the US.

Byrne has also said that in the discovery for that lawsuit he received internal Dominion emails between the CEO of Dominion and HQ in Serbia, where the CEO asked HQ to alter the results in Antrim County, Michigan - right before a series of alterations in the results which the CEO told state lawmaking bodies was because of “human error alone”.

Byrne had been ordered by a (very conflicted) judge to DESTROY that evidence because it was from Dominion, which had since changed its name.

I think it was Kissenger who said power is the most attractive thing a man can possess. Something like that. Which explains how these horrific ugly men in DC can always find a babe.

Did he have a NAZI tattoo on his chest, hang on teen websites, and get off in porta potties? In short was he Liz Warren's 'kind of man'?

The GOP had the chance to take down the swimmer in ‘69. Didn’t take advantage. We ended up with Watergate taking down Nixon and the swimmer taking down Bork. We get what we deserve.

That’s rather charitable. Like many here, I follow politics obsessively, and this the first I’ve heard of it.
