Many of the people I follow on X have said it's spectacular *despite* the questionable casting choices (and they're not in the film very long at all). And these people are definitely not Democrats.

I feel I might go see it on IMAX. I've never seen a movie on an IMAX screen before.

I went and I thought it was good. The stunt casting was a distraction but didn’t really change anything and it was not a feminist polemic or DEI ‘white men are bad’ movie like everyone guessed. It’s an adventure movie with a court intrigue sideplot and well done (though the music is overly loud and the rapper pretending to be Homer (though never called that) banging his cane incredibly loudly from time to time sucked).
