A Florida beach erupted into chaos Wednesday when an ultra-low-altitude Blue Angels flyover sent tents, chairs and umbrellas flying into the air — leaving spectators on the shoreline stunned as the jet engines roared just feet above their heads, wild video shows.
The “Breakfast with the Blues” annual flyover — part of the Pensacola Beach Air Show — sent sunbathers into a frenzy as the specialized US Navy jets flew terrifyingly close to the shore — stirring up clouds of sand and sending beach gear airborne, WEAR News reported.
Tents, beach chairs and umbrellas were tossed around by the thrust from the jet’s engines and some of the gear reportedly hit several people, according to videos posted to social media.
The extent of injuries, if any, is unknown at this point.
Despite the chaos, some beachgoers say they will remember the patriotic air display for a long time to come.
The Blue Angels leadership is reviewing the super low flyover.
“The safety of our hometown community, spectators, and our pilots is our highest priority,” a spokesperson for the specialized Navy demonstration group told WEAR News.
“Team leadership is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the maneuver and conducting a thorough safety review to ensure all operations adhere to strict Navy and FAA safety standards,” the statement said.
The Blue Angels have been doing the thrilling flyover at Pensacola Beach for 80 years, according to WEAR News — an annual tradition that draws in large crowds to the shoreline.
The multi-day annual air show sees as many as 250,000 people visit the town each year to catch a glimpse of the action.

There it is:
No one at the beach did not want exactly what the Angels did.
Liberal news going for the anti-military angle.
They hate patriotic displays.
+1
seems the crowd got the show they paid for.
Probably sent the woke folks screaming in panic as they leave, making room for real Americans to enjoy the flyover ...
Talk about getting a rush of patriotism.
I live in the area and see these guys at very low level daily over the Gulf beaches. Everyone in my community is happy to have them...I guess we’re. bunch of Flag wavers...

I did not see any chaos in the video.
I keep getting videos of this from different people on my Facebook feed, because I watched a couple so now they keep feeding them to me. The reaction of the crowd is overwhelmingly and unquestionably elation. One little boy burst into tears not because he was afraid or had sand blown on him, but because he was able to catch it on his phone.
Trying to make this into a bad thing is idiotic.
Just my two cents,

Forgive me for presenting the story, sharing a link to the video, mentioning the rules that apply, and positing a likely outcome to the pilot.
That's one clip. And whether they were upset or not is far less important to whether or not the pilot put them at risk.
Well, there is this video from 2015: https://theaviationist.com/2015/07/14/blue-angels-low-over-pensacola-beach/#deny
There are a couple more from 2025 that are on youtube.com as well. They are out there to be found if you look for them. :)
Ah, yes, the "No True Scotsman Fallacy" - only real Americans would embrace such risk.

Yes, let's focus only on the discomfort caused by the disturbed air. Ignore the risk of the force of a fueled-up 35,000lb aircraft moving at speed.
So safety and compliance with regulations is anti-patriotic.
Anybody with any brains would know the truth of a low flyover.
Be careful Florida there are some real idiots on your beaches.
Let's check the pilot.
There are rules for a reason.
Eye roll
You got that right.
Nearly Everyone on P’cola Beach this weekend IS THERE for the Blues beach air show. Condo prices reflect the popularity…
