Luigi Mangione will assert a psychiatric defense at his state murder trial in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a judge said Wednesday.
Judge Gregory Carro said Mangione's lawyers have informed him they will attempt to show that he was suffering from “extreme emotional disturbance at the time of the occurrence.”

With the trial in New York, I expect a full acquittal from the lunatics there.

So, Mangione claims he killed the CEO because of severe pain?
Hearing this for the first time.
Mangione was a talented and privileged young man with everything to live for. Until he suffered a back injury and lost the ability to do almost everything.
He seemed to psychologically lose it while enduring the pain and process of treatment which was made far worse than it had to be thanks to insurance profiteering.
