President Trump said the supreme leader of Iran Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has agreed to the peace deal, including its provision that Tehran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
“They will not have a nuclear weapon, they’ve agreed to that,” he said. “They will not only not have, they will not purchase, develop in any way, any shape, in any way, shape, or form a nuclear weapon. They will not have a nuclear weapon.”
The president has been adamant that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, leaving it as a make or break condition in the talks. Tehran had pushed back, claiming their nuclear program was for energy purposes but Trump has been insistent it must end.
There have been several starts and stops on the road to a deal but Trump expressed confidence Iran would sign on because “they got hit very hard.”
They want to sign it as much as I do, or more, I would say they want to sign it more, maybe a lot more,” he noted.
The president announced the deal earlier Thursday in a post on social media, saying he was canceling an attack he had planned for later in the day on Iran.

All of this wasted time, two months for NOTHING, ya know we could have been over and done with this. Iran would have been done, Israel would have wiped out the remaining Iranian regime, and that would have been it. Obviously everyone we would have killed would have been replaced but it would have been a MASSIVE blow to the regime but Trump for whatever reason stopped. And I would just love to ask him why, why did he stop. Did we not have the weapons, we have it now, maybe we didnt have it then who knows. Its ironic, we went after George W Bush for being in war too long, but with Trump, he ended it too damn quick
I wish PDJT would keep his yap shut until signatures are on the agreement.

Perhaps so. But I’m sure of one thing. All of the nuclear dust won’t be all of the nuclear dust. You can hide lots of stuff in deep caves.
By the way, I wouldn’t be faulting Trump for such a deal. You can collect all of the nuclear dust only if you are willing to commit infantry, lots of infantry.
And that means casualties. The American people wouldn’t accept such a situation.
