A notorious New York mobster became a target of the federal government after Marilyn Monroe allegedly called out his name during an encounter with Robert F. Kennedy, his son claimed.
Appearing on the “Hang Out with Sean Hannity” podcast, former Colombo crime family captain Michael Franzese detailed a bombshell account passed down by his late father, underboss John “Sonny” Franzese.
Franzese said Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy ordered FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to target Franzese’s father after Marilyn Monroe allegedly mentioned the mobster during an intimate encounter with Kennedy.
Franzese said his father claimed he had an affair with Monroe after meeting her at Manhattan’s Stork Club.
“Now this is my father telling me this, right, she’s with Bobby Kennedy,” Franzese said of the legendary starlet.
“And he said, ‘One night they were having fun together, and she screamed out my name.'”
“She said at that point [Kennedy] got on the phone with Hoover, and he said, ‘I don’t know who this Sonny guy is, but put him in jail.'”
Franzese, one of the highest-earning Mafia figures to publicly leave organized crime, said his father shared the story after Franzese’s mother died in 2012.

LMAO. I love mob stories. Remember The Sopranos? I watched several times then bought it on DVDs, no idea where it is now. BTW, I’m a very small woman, not gonna fight with those jerks. But it was so well written and acted, I watched it several times == the whole thing. Wonder if DVDs are still available.
MM was a very friendly gal.
Supposedly she also would go with Sam Giancona.
There are so many conspiracies out there and one of them is Bobby did her in. I don’t believe that one but they were an item and they say she loved him more than Jack. I wonder if that one is true. They also say she was about to go back with Joe DiMaggio and he really loved her.
I have no idea what is true with MM but I personally don’t think she committed suicide.
Ask Shelly Winters. She didn’t either.
Dead men tells no tales... And neither do dead women. This is complete B.S.
I believe this 0%.
DITTO.
No doubt the Sinatra-Kennedy connection was part of everyone’s enjoyment, profit, status, hubris and death.
IF MM was going to go public about her affairs with many men, including JFK and RFK, it is quite possible that she had to be silenced.
Who better to silence her than the Kennedys and the mob?
We see that after 1962, many people “committed suicide” and of course after November 22nd, so many more people “committed suicide” 1963-1966 and then again 1977-1978 (HSCA).
Mob, politics, LBJ, JE Hoover, CIA and FBI all conspired and all covered up.
That show was filmed in my hometown of Kearny, NJ.

They are. I bought the series too. Enjoyed it.
TV shows began to have a depth and coherence that attracted and kept audiences watching. Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Fargo, and others enjoyed good ratings and long production runs for their networks and producers. And even shows that were more traditional and corporate in their origin and production model aimed at better writing, story telling, and casting.
We now live in a new Golden Age of television. And it all began with a fictional mobster in New Jersey with issues that drove him to seek help from a psychiatrist.
That's the one I heard.
If you want to read a good conspiracy theory on JFK’s assassination, go read The Devil’s Chessboard - Allen Dulles, the CIA, and the rise of America’s secret government by David Talbot.
Usually available on Archive.org if you do e-books.

Oswald was a patsy.
There’s a publicity pic of the Sopranos cast taken in Hoboken cemetery. I’ve done a lot of work in there and I recognized the background instantly. Same thing happened with Spiderman and. Cypress Hills cemetery.
Oswald Was The Patsy.
💯
I read much of the Warren Report since 1975...read many books by serious investigators like Mark Lane.
The fact that files are STILL being withheld, destroyed or redacted means indeed it was a coup d’etat by LBJ & Co.
The first detective on the scene was a very experienced homicide investigator. He said it was the most inept staged suicide he’d ever seen. Somebody wanted her gone, that’s about all there is to it.
From the title, I thought RFK weaponized the FBI against Joe Kennedy, RFK’s father. LOL!
Also, I can hardly believe that Franzese is still alive. He started spilling the beans about the mobs a couple decades ago that I can recall.
Loved the Sopranos!
We went to see “Song Sung Blue” last month, and Michael Imperioli was a musician (voice and guitar) in it. He’s actually very good, but it was weird seeing him in that role after Sopranos.
Sex and the City didn’t have much depth.
