LMAO. I love mob stories. Remember The Sopranos? I watched several times then bought it on DVDs, no idea where it is now. BTW, I’m a very small woman, not gonna fight with those jerks. But it was so well written and acted, I watched it several times == the whole thing. Wonder if DVDs are still available.

DVDs and Blu-Ray for The Sopranos are available. The quality of its writing transformed television and pioneered a new production model. Talented, reliable script writers with a creative vision like David Chase of Sopranos were given control of a show, often based on their original concept and casting choices.

TV shows began to have a depth and coherence that attracted and kept audiences watching. Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Fargo, and others enjoyed good ratings and long production runs for their networks and producers. And even shows that were more traditional and corporate in their origin and production model aimed at better writing, story telling, and casting.

We now live in a new Golden Age of television. And it all began with a fictional mobster in New Jersey with issues that drove him to seek help from a psychiatrist.

Loved the Sopranos!

We went to see “Song Sung Blue” last month, and Michael Imperioli was a musician (voice and guitar) in it. He’s actually very good, but it was weird seeing him in that role after Sopranos.
