A World War II-era seaplane makes an emergency landing right on a Phoenix street.
Smoke reportedly started entering the cockpit after the plane's engine made a noise. The video, captured by a camera mounted on the plane's wing, shows the aircraft's descent. All the passengers made it out safely.
An NTSB investigation is now underway.

Republic Seabee in "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974)
They’ll be waiting a while for enough rain to float that thing out of there.
Even if it were a PTZ camera I wouldn't think anyone in the aircraft would have the presence of mind to grab their phone to control the camera.
“The plane used in the movie (serial no. 105) was built in October 1946 and was delivered to Rankin Aviation Industries (based in Tulare, California) in the same month. It was registered as N87545, the registration and a tiny American flag can be seen in the movie. On November 8th 1971, the RC-3 crash-landed in a Las Vegas shopping mall after experiencing a mechanical failure. The aircraft was listed as ‘destroyed’ afterwards, and was purchased by a California man in January 1974, who transported it to Thailand, where The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed. After Bond’s landing was filmed, all valuable components (such as instruments) were removed from the aircraft, before it was destroyed by explosives. After the explosion scene was filmed, crew members extinguished the fire using buckets of water.”

Interesting
Smoke in the cockpit when the engine is behind the cockpit?
The camera angle is stable while the wing shudders on "impact". If the camera were attached to the airframe it would bounce around too.
Just because the YT guy bit doesn't mean it's real.
Hmmmmpt! The streets in Phoenix don’t look anything like I would’ve thought!
A lot of cameras these days are gyro-stabilized, so it might not bounce around too much if the jolt isn't too bad.
Electrical fire?
Uhh, plane engines always make noise...unless they are turned off.
Republic Sea Bee..nice plane.

They must have lakes around there somewhere............
It could be one of those new fangled 360 degree cameras where it records everything at the same time and the editor can then pan the camera around in post.
Not saying this is real, as I’m with you in the opinion that it seems kinda odd.

Propeller. Device for keeping the pilot cool and comfortable.
Turn it off and watch him sweat.
I live in the Phoenix area. If it happened yesterday, it might be an office/industrial park area explaining the light traffic. Maybe Grant Avenue (since it needs to be really wide).
The local Fox affiliate has nothing on its website. This would be a big story. I call made up.
