In 2024, President Biden said he wanted 56% of all new cars sold in the United States to be electric vehicles by 2032. California Governor Gavin Newsom similarly mandated that 35% of new 2026 model cars sold in the state be zero-emissions vehicles, rising to 68% in 2030 and 100% in 2035.
The European Union announced in 2023 that, from 2035 onward, all new cars coming onto the market could not emit any CO2. The United Kingdom similarly announced a 2030 ban on the sale of new diesel and petrol cars.
The reaction from the U.S. auto industry was blunt. The Alliance for Automotive Innovation said it “will take a miracle” for all states following California’s rules to reach 100% new zero-emission vehicle sales by 2035.
They are correct. The environmental impact would be devastating. The people claiming to save the world with electric cars could end up destroying it.

A long read but a great article.
More factual evidence of why EVs are actually a terrible concept.

Buy a Chinese BYD and Burn Your Driveway ,LOL
Tesla is prevailing
The Model Tesla Y was the largest selling vehicle model in the whole world for the year 2025
The Tesla Semi’s now rolling off the assembly line in Nevada are going to seriously disrupt the market simply because they make money for the owners.

“Tesla is prevailing”
At what cost???
You might want to read the article before singing the praises of EVs......which was the point of the post to begin with.
Thereby achieving their real objective.
This one is worth forwarding to my EV advocate friends and acquaintances. I wish it was somewhere other than Gateway Pundit.
It makes note of the beneficial impact of converting to Lithium Iron batteries without mention that it doesn’t eliminate the need for substantial amounts of cobalt and other rare earths in magnets for motors.
I don’t disagree with that
The comments at the article are something to behold
I can manage that for governor.
We get one of his Billionaire buddies to buy 13 cars, 5 of which will be electric cars all the others will be Internal Combustion Engines.
All the other people in California who buy a car that year will buy them outside of California.
5 of 13 equals 38% and fulfills his goal.
The state will forgo a lot of sales tax but the governor has his priorities and his goals.
How long does a Tesla Semi take to charge, and for how many miles will the charge last?
Just think... This is likely already a big problem... All those abandoned and disposed of electric car batteries oozing deadly chemicals into your groundwater... With many more to come in the future.
They’ll be joining the mercury from Al Gore’s lightbulbs to make groundwater undrinkable in a few years.
And as I understand it, many junk yards refuse to allow EVs in their yards.
The EV and the Data Center build outs have the same problem.
WHERE is all the ELECTRICITY production going to come from?
The Tesla Model Y is the number one selling automobile in the world currently. Which is a fact. However, I suspect BYD is going to take over a lot of that market segment. Even though Elon can make those cars cheaper than anyone else.
I know multiple people that own Teslas. They are fun to drive. Instantaneous torque. They are VERY expensive to repair when they do need maintenance. My buddy replaced one of his front headlights on his model Y. The local Tesla dealer charged him $1400. They had to take the bumper off to do it.
I replaced the headlights in my Tacoma with the brightest bulb the auto parts store had. $59 for two. The original equipment bulbs were $19. It took me about a half hour because the drivers side you have to move the battery.
The passenger side took two minutes.
Electric vehicles are not a ‘sacrifice’, but a luxury. Instant torque and fun to drive (performance Model Y Teslas can go 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds; long range non-performance model Y Teslas can go 0-60 in 4.1 seconds), no fumes, less noise, less frequent maintenance early on. That said, energy has to come from somewhere, and the energy to charge EVs comes off of the grid - which has all of the issues the save the world cult attribute to internal combustion vehicles.
Plus the cost of EVs makes them much less accessible to average income populace. Add in all of the ‘less visible’ issues with EVs, as addressed in the posted article, and the ‘virtue’ aspect of EVs becomes void.
” My buddy replaced one of his front headlights on his model Y. The local Tesla dealer charged him $1400”
That’s another thing.....as I understand it tesla requires theybdo all the services.
“How long does a Tesla Semi take to charge, and for how many miles will the charge last?”
Here is the published information. Max range is about 488-500 miles with max load.

The issue, as it has always been, is that we need more electrical production for EV’s to work well.
I’ve been saying this for years.
He told me that he now has to replace a ball joint on his model Y. I asked him if would be cheaper to just trade it in? He said, maybe?
What is the total loss that the EV makers have on their EV’s. More importantly, how much has been grifted from Taxpayers in order to subsidize these sham vehicles??? What a pathetic joke.
