It’s in Brawley.

Mesquite trees and rattlesnakes hardest hit. Even desert rats consider Brawley to be the boondocks.

with several microearthquakes

They used to just be called "tremors" but since our news media prefers to frame everything like a crisis...

It is the south end of the San Andreas fault line.

“Dodgers game unbothered”

Other than the Braves bent the Dodgers over 2 out of three games this weekend. The game they won they really didn’t deserve to with 4 hits. Dodgers managed 13 hits, 7 runs in three games. Ohtani is hitting under .250. Maybe Mookie Betts sparks them when he returns, maybe not. Pitching is now very suspect do in part to injuries.

It is the current south end of the San Andreas fault line.

I don't know of anything that would stop an energetic earthquake from opening up the fault a little more and extending the line farther south. /picky

Did horses refuse to go into the barn before they happened?
Did hogs bite each other? Did toads abandon ponds? Did cats hide and dogs start whining, howling or barking?

Supposedly sensing “P-waves” and sounds humans can’t hear from the grinding tectonic plates moving below. Wonder if Joy Reid, Jessica Tarlov and Maxine Waters can sense them like we humans can’t.

The energy build up on the tectonic plates is relentless. Having that energy released in a bunch of small quakes is the best outcome one could want.
