Can anyone recommend a good online resource to upload photos for discussion on this site?
No NSA/CIA please, but not necessarily super-secure either.
Thanks.

Just find an excuse to make a post then grab the URL of the Image. I do it all the time after the AT&T monopoly on Hotspots ruined being able to easily post things from my own server.

Adding Static Images
In many cases, you’ll want to include static images that have fixed sizes. This is useful for simple web pages where the layout is constant across all devices. Let’s take a look at a basic example.
Syntax:
<img src="image_path" alt="image_description" width="40%">
Where:
- src: Refers to the image file landscape.jpg located in the same directory as the HTML file.
- alt: Describes the image as “A scenic view of mountains and a lake.”
- width and height: Define the image size as 400x250 pixels. The easiest method is to use width percentage such as width="35%". This means the image will not distort and will only take up a certain amount on the FR page.
Example: This example shows the use of static images. When posting on FR you do not need the other webpage elements defined, such as <html> and <body> because you're already within a webpage.
<img src="https://media.geeksforgeeks.org/wp-content/uploads/20240911162743/GeeksforGeeks-Logo.png" alt="GFG logo" width="40%">

..Tell me how to post a photo on this forum please...It is not a simple operation. Images have to be downloaded to a server that lets you hotlink to the web address. I usually do a Google search of images, After I find one I like , I click on the image until it is all by itself, that is, not part of a larger web page. Once you have the Web address of that image you can use HTML to post it. Img src=WebAddress in brackets.

Good guide: The ‘alt’ part is optional, and so is the width, but width a good thing to provide. I will typically use pixels, as is ‘width=400’, but your mileage may vary.

- This is set up to post a graphic in this topic (4377380), you could save the link into a text file, and just alter the topic number as needed. This fills the reply box with the code for an image linked to its page source, and CAPTION is in there four times, just change that as needed (add attribution or page name):

Use this as shown: IMG SRC=post image link here
Find a picture online and and select Copy Image Link i.e. Example:
IMG SRC=https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimg.freepik.com%2Fpremium-photo%2Fstars-stripes-american-woman-with-usa-flag_841543-40155.jpg&f=1&nofb=1&ipt=641909bbecb8f91b847e05394457aee24c035bbbb95b90c9fbe150c9e1ffaaec
Immediately before "I" in IMG and put this character < and then this character > immediately after the image link

This is just me... I use hostinger.com for Web Hosting. They have very good specials at various times of the year, although it always looks like they are having some type of sale. I just upload whatever picture I want to post to one my dummy sites and then copy the image address from that.
It sounds like a pain, but it is actually very easy.

fotki.com is a free site to upload pictures to and post them here and elsewhere.

Thanks guys.
I’m talking about photos I took not photos that are online (I know how to post photos that are already online).
These are political photos that I don’t want to put on family members Instagram or Facebook pages.
I need a website to upload photos to that I can then repost here.
