Squad Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who’s under investigation for blowing campaign cash on a shrink who specializes in ketamine therapy, spent big on the doctor last quarter, new records showed.
The socialist lawmaker who reps parts of Queens and the Bronx allegedly violated election and ethics rules by misusing nearly $19,000 in campaign cash last year on Dr. Brian Boyle, according to watchdog complaints filed last month with the Federal Election Commission and Office of Congressional Conduct.
New FEC quarterly filings reveal the controversial expenses continued this year, with AOC’s campaign paying $4,550 to Boyle on Jan. 12.
While the lawmaker continues to refuse to say why she is paying him, the Harvard-trained shrink calls himself an “interventional psychiatrist” specializing in unorthodox methods for treatment-resistant depression, PTSD and anxiety.
He’s considered a “leading authority” on ketamine, the controversial horse tranquilizer given to “Friends” star Matthew Perry in the month leading up to his tragic death.
AOC’s campaign filings describe the money as being for “leadership training and consulting,” but that is not an area of Dr. Boyle’s practice or expertise.
The ethics watchdog behind last month’s complaint told The Post it filed a supplemental one Friday in light of the new expenses.
“AOC needs to come clean and explain to her contributors and the FEC why she spent almost $24,000 of campaign funds on a Boston psychiatrist who specializes in ketamine therapy and has no expertise in political campaigns,” said Paul Kamenar, counsel to the National Legal and Policy Center.

Ketamine is used frequently on humans in anesthesia, I was given Ketamine about two years ago when I was put under for a heart procedure, it’s a pretty wild experience, your mind is still working but you’re completely unaware of what’s going on around you, I felt like I was flying thru a kaleidoscope
LOL. I don’t know why anyone is trying to get her out of office. She is a posterchild for Republican government. One of the best marketing tools the GOP has. I hope she stays in office until she is as old as that walking corpse from Connecticut, DeLauro.
AOC is obviously mentally ill. I bet she is bipolar Republicans should demand why she is taking ketamine. A ketamine drugged AOC is a bigger national security risk than she is already as a communist.
