One of the most pressing issues facing the scientific and medical communities is the catastrophic loss of the public’s trust in accepting their advice and/or recommendations. And it’s overwhelmingly due to their own actions and statements.
There are books' worth of examples worth of examples. Such as the early part of the pandemic when they flip-flopped on masks, from claiming that they didn’t work to stating that getting 80% of the public to wear them would end the pandemic in a matter of weeks, to their claims that the lab leak was a racist conspiracy theory, and all the way to absurdities such as predicting the Super Bowl in Florida would be a "superspreader event."
Or the mass panic when states like Mississippi and Texas ended their mask mandates, or when the mandate on airplanes was lifted…and nothing happened afterward.
But certainly nothing may have damaged their trust more than the steadfast assertions that the COVID vaccines were able to stop infection and transmission. And one study and analysis from a heavily credentialed group of experts on the vaccines shows how committed they were to misleading people in order to suit their political and ideological aims.
COVID vaccines did not prevent over 100 million cases in the United States
An analysis conducted by extremely experienced academics published at the Commonwealth Fund exemplifies this practice. Claiming that COVID vaccines were miraculous treatments that prevented millions of cases and millions of deaths. But first, it’s important to define what the "Commonwealth Fund is" and how organizations like this serve a very specific purpose.
Directly from their website they describe their mission as to "promote a high-performing, equitable health care system that achieves better access, improved quality, and greater efficiency, particularly for society’s most vulnerable, including people of color, people with low income...

“Now we have Scarf Lady admitting that the vax was never intended for wide spread use”
That evil lying bitch Birx now is a healthcare contributor on Newsmax. (Also two other disgusting people, i.e., Judge Napolitano and Wesley Clark.) I like their evening lineup of hunks, Carl, Rob, Rob, and Greg, but the daytime “talent” is when they bring in the weirdos.
I pray that an AG of some state — all 50 of them — will find good reason to charge, prosecute, and incarcerate Fauci. POTUS Autopen pardoned him for Federal crimes, but that doesn’t mean states can’t do it.
Tie him up in court for years, and make him let go of some of that high salary he’s been taking for decades via lawyers’ fees.
FWIW, during the Covid Hysteria, I never contracted covid, but had the flu once and got over it. The disappearance of flu from CDC reports always struck me as extremely suspicious.
Of course, a believer would say that measures taken to prevent the spread of Covid suppressed influenza as a side effect. I would be be extremely sceptical.
Oh my!
I believe the Covid vaccine was just the compliant vaccine for future death shots to come. Total destruction of the healthcare system is the Democrat agenda. They destroy everything.getting shots by random priority was insane.
Here’s a fun story. As the lunacy was winding down, my son’s department at work got together for the first time in over a year for a Christmas lunch. His moron boss made sure to let it slip that my son was the only one in the room who was unvaxxed.
Not one of them was able to piece together the puzzle when it turned out that everyone in the room except one came down with the Wuhan Red Death a couple days later. Anyone want to guess who didn’t get sick?
And yes, my son began his job search that day after his boss made sure to share my son’s private medical information, got a far better job with 40% more pay and tossed the boss firmly under the bus at his exit interview.
He must have scared HR a bit for he received a formal apology letter after he quit.

At this point no amount of evidence will convince the anti-vaccine cult they were dupped.
Could be lawsuit material.
Wow!
....what idiocy! it was NOT a vaccine, that’s why they had to change the definition to get the sheep to keep lining up! Only a moron would subject a child to the monsterous vaccine schedule of the evil gov’munt out there today... ymmv
I should have screen shotted it. Sure people have.
Anyway, during this time I looked at Winkipedia, and CDC website. Definition of “Vaccine” was “Prevents disease”. And that was the definition for, well as long as there have been vaccines.
But after Covid vaxx came out, a few months later, the definition was changed to “may prevent or reduce the severity of a disease”.
That’s some 1984 level stuff there.

The definition of vaccine was changed to more accurately describe the purpose of a vaccine. The old definition did not address the fact that all vaccines have breakthrough cases. No vaccine is 100% effective and the new definition reflects that fact.
Anti-vacciners choose misrepresent the childhood vaccine schedule. It is nowhere near the monstrosity some claim. In fact, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), representing 70,000 pediatricians, continues to recommend the original 2025 schedule (covering 18 diseases). They argue the federal changes are “dangerous and unnecessary”.
YMMV.
Was it really Covid that killed millions or was it the being put on the vent by the thousands/millions by medical professionals(?) who did not have the education to property maintain patients on vents? Probably a chicken/egg question but it seemed in my little corner of the world if one got “vented” one got dead.
he could probably sue those people, & present the letter of apology as a written confession.
think about it: get a free vacation this summer, & make friends with a happy lawyer to boot!
When you provide evidence and not government propaganda you might begin to have a point. Just another article you have not read in your blind allegiance to the leftists worship of the clot shot.

There was no evidence in that article. Just a bunch of anti-vaxxer conspiracy cult arm waving.
Try again, clearly stated are number of deaths relative to time frames of unvaccinated and vacinated and compering the 2 pretty much makes the 3+ million a ridiculous assertion for deaths prevented, but hey I get it, actually thinking is hard.
LOL, right and the fact it was timed so perfectly to support covid clot shots and also provide “credibility” to calling it a vaccine should just be ignored, nothing to see here..
HAHAHAH what a dupe.
“About 500,000 American deaths could have been prevented for years.”
What evidence do you have for that?

He’s not really interested in that. Plus, he works in a very narrow field of engineering so he doesn’t want to screw up his reputation early in his career.
