According to Johnson “there is seriously something wrong with Trump.”

Not without an objectively rational and legal justification, no.
Why? Is there some law that prohibits that? He just ordered an offensive attack on Iran and the military obeyed.
For starters, it would be a violation of the law of war that officers are required to follow. There is also the question of the Constitutional power of Congress to declare war. Exigent circumstances/excuses may justify bypassing that, but if there are no exigent circumstances, the order would be illegal. I would say the same thing about an unprovoked invasion of Canada or Greenland because they are legally allies.
You also seem to forget he can simply fire people until someone says, "Yes, sir!".
Sure, he can. And in the meantime, the general officer who refused would be on the phone immediately to the VP, members of the Cabinet, and congressional leadership. The President would be out of power in 15 minutes.
The only exception I can think of is the initiation of a nuclear exchange without cause that would annihilate the US.
Any unjustifiable nuclear attack initiated by the U.S. would have horrible consequences for the country, and the response, potentially included nuclear attack by other countries nervous about what we are doing, would be possible as well.
