Jason Thomas Nichols, a 30-year-old California man, is facing four felony charges after Ring camera footage of his erratic home invasion attempt went massively viral this earlier this week. He has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury, first-degree burglary, terrorizing, and vandalism for the Tuesday, April 7 incident.
Earlier this week, video of Jason Thomas Nichols attacking the front door of a neighbor and demanding to know where his daughter was blew up on social media. In the viral Ring camera footage, Nichols — wearing a black trench coat, a Demon Slayer anime shirt, and flip flops — can be seen approaching a residence on Burbank Court in Fairfield, California, before starting to bang on and kick the front door while repeatedly demanding to see the family’s daughter.
Nichols identified himself as “Harry Dresden,” who is the fictional wizard protagonist of Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files novel series.

In some of the later books in the series, Harry Dresden dies and becomes a ghost. Maybe that’s what the goober was seeking?
Had a whacko try to break into our home complwgely naked. Convronted him and he ran and jumled in our vehicle and crapped on fhe seat. (Yeah we never lockec vehicles before that. ) cops came, he was taken away but back out on streets in no time. He later committed suicide (not from this incident... it was yeafs later). Found his clothes on edge of ouf property later. He told cops he “thought it wax his own house” but he lived several towns awzy.
If this had happened in Texas it would have been a much shorter story.
Now I could see committing suicide because you can’t find a proofreader. That I could understand.
It’s the trench coat and flip flops for me. Outta my way, ladies! He’s MINE!
