The woman famously known as “Baby Jessica” over her dramatic miracle rescue from a Texas well as a tot in 1987 has just been busted for alleged domestic assault, authorities said.
Jessica McClure Morales, now 40, was arrested Saturday night over a disturbance at her home in Midland County, Texas, where she is believed to live with her husband, Daniel Morales, and their two kids, KXAN reported.
Authorities have not released details about the incident, but McClure Morales was charged with assault causing bodily injury involving family violence.
Her arrest comes decades after the now-married mom of two made global headlines when she was miraculously pulled alive from an abandoned well in Midland after being trapped for nearly 60 hours.
McClure Morales, who was just 18 months old at the time, became lodged in the well after tumbling about 22 feet down.
The nearly 60-hour effort to rescue her was streamed live on TVs across the world as emergency crews raced to save her.

McClure Morales, who lost a toe to gangrene as a result, was forced to endure more than a dozen surgeries to treat injuries she suffered during the ordeal.
She has long maintained that she has no recollection of ever being trapped.

Paramedic Robert O’Donnell (August 27, 1957 – April 27, 1995) developed post-traumatic stress disorder after the rescue and later struggled to cope with the rapid fame and subsequent obscurity he experienced in the immediate aftermath of his heroic act. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

'Course, it DID begin in a well.....
LOL!! I remember the first Lassie series 1954-57. Tommy Rettig played Jeff Miller. Jan Clayton played his mother Ellen, and George Cleveland played George 'Gramps' Mille
She could be the 12th Imam.
But I’d hit it.
Yes, I remember that in the 50s too. They announced little Kathy Fiscus is dead when she got out of the well.
Thanks for also remembering,
As I recall it was a quite traumatic, seems to me broadcast realtime drama , and sad, but who was I to comprehend..
