A 75-year-old grandmother was brutally beaten outside her New York City home after she asked her neighbor to pick up after their dog.
Linda Scott was viciously stomped and punched in her front yard following the confrontation at around 9am on April 6, according to the New York Post.
A doorbell camera captured Scott arguing with the dog owner before another woman in a red sweatshirt came in swinging violently at the grandmother.
While Scott was on the ground, the attacker continued to land multiple punches on the elderly woman's head and proceeded to stomp at least twice on her face.
The assault only stopped when a Navy vet neighbor intervened.
Scott recalled fearing for her life during the brutal attack and said she was thinking: 'God, I hope I live.'
'I tried to call 911. I think I had them on the open phone number, you know, but I couldn't do it because I just was shaking too much,' she added.
Scott sustained heavy bruising to her face and body and was taken to the hospital where she remained for two days.

I have several flames in my ping list bashing me for enjoying my non diverse city and stating I do what I can to not live near brown people.
Something evil is happening with we old people. It seems like everyone that sees our vulnerability is on the attack. During the time I was homeless after Almeda burned my community and covid had everything shut down, I was attacked all the time! It’s heartbreaking and I will never recover.

Not in North Idaho. Younger people are always kind to us oldsters. I met a nice group of teens hiking a few weeks back. They all met through school, jobs and Bible study. It’s a different world without these cares.
Someone with zero impulse control. Who ever, or what ever it is should spend years in prison for this.
I’m in no way blaming the victim. The lady of course had every right to ask her neighbor to pick up after their dog. But we cannot conclude it’s therefore a good idea.
In this day and age, just looking at someone wrong can get you attacked. So in such situations, a vulnerable person must do a risk-reward assessment.
The good guy always wins, but only in the movies.
I’ve never had a problem with teenagers. It’s grown men.
