Gavin Newsom's wife has made a few documentaries. They shouldn't be called documentaries because they are just trashy movies bashing men and bashing America.

Here's where it gets interesting.

In 2023 the watchdog group Open The Books discovered that some of her documentaries were being streamed in the California public schools and that the Newsom's made millions by charging the schools to play them.

In other words, the Newsoms made the schools force the kids to watch these disgusting movies created by Newsom's wife, and they made millions of dollars doing it.

I'm no fan of Newsom (or his wife), and I wouldn't be surprised if there were some truth to this story, but I'm skeptical of the claim that they made "millions" off of this. Even in a crazy state like California, I don't think they'd spend that much money to show a few videos made by a private individual.

There are ~5,857 elementary schools in California. If they all paid the $600 she charged to show the movie that would bring in $3,514,200. So even if several schools didn’t show it you can easily still be talking millions.
