The official Memorial Wall can be updated, if someone with access would just take the time to do it.

That was my intention when I posted this rough draft for the Original Memorial Thread a few weeks ago.

The tedious html work is already finished!
All a moderator--or anyone with access--would have to do is copy-n-paste the updated html into the existing Wall's code, somewhere after the most recent addition:

I pinged John, Chris and the mods to it. A week went by with no response. So I posted a 2.0 Memorial Thread, figuring it was better than nothing.

One question I got, though, is how ya’ll find out when a Freeper has passed?

Same way everyone else knows--word of mouth, someone shares an obituary or a tribute, a family member contacts a friend on FR, etc.

Also, Monkey Face, Doris McClellan, a lovely lady who was queen of the Undead Threads passed away on March 18, 2025. She is missed by many.
