New data from drilling in the ice cores proves the exact opposite of what climate alarmists have been saying.
There are many historical examples of scientific evidence being uncovered, but not fully recognized for its significance. Gregor Mendel published his work on inheritance in 1866, showing clear numerical patterns in how traits passed from one generation to the next. The paper largely sat unnoticed for decades before being rediscovered around 1900, when it became foundational to genetics.
Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson detected persistent microwave noise in 1964, and initially treated it as an annoying background signal. It turned out to be relic radiation from the early universe, one of the strongest pieces of evidence for the Big Bang.
In paleontology and biology, specimens are often collected and stored for decades before a new technique or new theory reveals their importance. A fossil may sit in a drawer until someone realizes it belongs to a new species, or fills a major evolutionary gap.
Now we have another example. The EPICA and Vostok Antarctic ice cores were drilled over twenty years ago, and analysis of the temperature and CO2 datasets derived from them has provided fodder for numerous papers. Climate change advocates had hoped that it would provide the proof they needed that rising CO2 level caused rising temperature, but instead it showed rising CO2 level lagging rising temperature with cause and effect the reverse of what they wanted.
However, that disappointment did not stop Michael Mann, the hockey stick creator, or Bill Nye the Science Guy, from continuing to assert that the recent rise in global temperature is unprecedented. Now, that too turns out to be untrue. Like an old fossil that sat unexamined for years, the ice core data had more to teach us.

used to be called q10 in biology and chemistry. increase the temp and increase the chemical activity. I wasn’t sleeping on that day in class.
Climate change will not be dropped because it is too convenient for those who wish to control others.

The old solution was communism.
Now, with new evidence, which reverses everything, and turns our whole understanding of climate change completely on its head, we can say with confidence that the new solution is: communism.
And SO WHAT if it WAS unprecedented???
One of earth's warming periods HAS TO BE the MOST DRAMATIC. That is a statistical certainty.
Show me the irrefutable scientific proof that the one we're in now isn't and wasn't always meant to be the the most dramatic warming period in all of earth's climatological history.
Until then, I still have some more styrofoam coolers that need burning.

The sun is the primary source of our heat. The temperature of the SUN as it hits the earth varies. There is speculation as to why and when it varies. Sometimes it is the sunspot, or a flare or one kind of ray vs another kind of ray.
And, of course for any given point on the earth it varies by season.
True. This is not news to informed readers. The fact that the Climate Cult remains undeterred in pushing the false narrative speaks to their character.
But they SO desparately want it to be true.
The climate activists should focus on climate equity. Every part of the earth should enjoy equally good weather all the time.

The emails from the 2009 East Anglia hack show how they were using journal access publication access and tenure etc. to screen out anyone who disagreed.

HaVE been saying this for over a decade now- Temperatures rise, THEN CO2 rises 1000 or so years later- Science shows clearly that CO2 does NOT drive temperatures- it’s just the opposite- Nearly every scientist studying this issue KNOW this fact but ignored it- and will continue ignoring it UNLESS the evidence becomes so overwhelming that they can no longer hide behind their lie and they are forced to come up with a lame excuse why they ignored the facts for so long-

The great Manbearpig (Algore) hisself proved CO2 lags temperature in his movie An Inconvenient Truth. He used a chart showing the correlation between CO2 and temperature at a very rough resolution. But when you look at the chart at a fine resolution, you can clearly discern that CO2 lags temperature. The math proves that the lag time averages about 800 years. IOW, temperature changes, and about 800 years later, CO2 follows.
