Married mom who vanished last year could be tied to missing and dead US scientists: report

A married mom who vanished last year may be tied to a string of mysterious deaths and disappearances of US scientists and military officials with access to potentially sensitive information, according to a report.

Melissa Casias, who worked with her husband as an administrative assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory [LANL] — famous for developing nuclear weapons during the Manhattan Project — has not been seen since she dropped lunch off for her daughter in New Mexico last summer.

She is one of four high-clearance people who have died or gone missing since June 2025 with connections to UFO-linked retired Air Force Gen. William McCasland, who vanished last month, according to the Daily Mail.

Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker told the Mail he is now worried that she is part of an alarming pattern, as her work as an assistant at LANL may have made her a target for kidnapping.

“In a classified lab, or just a high clearance lab, they would basically be in the know on what’s going on,” Swecker, who spent 24 years with the agency, said. “And it wouldn’t be the first time their administrative assistant has been targeted.”

The FBI “can’t have these examined in isolation and compartmentalize them as individual missing person cases,” he added.

Casias and her husband both worked at LANL in New Mexico. She was last seen on camera on June 25, 2025 walking alone on a highway without her wallet, phone or keys, after telling family members she would be working from home, Dateline reported.

I say the Chi-Comms. With PLA "students" running amok
all over the USA I'm surprised more high value
people aren't missing. How many people go "missing" in China
when the communist leadership is displeased with them?
Seems it's standard operating procedure with the
Chi-Comms to "disappear" people.

Its not UFO.
Most likely Iran or North Korea looking for nuclear secrets.
There are very few people in the world with knowledge of advanced nuclear weapons.
Kidnaping some of them would save either country 30 years of development time.

It seems unlikely to be a foreign power because when they left they didnt take important personal items and things that could be easily tracked. It seems unlikely that an assassin or alien would make someone leave these kind of personal items behind.

Im pretty sure that at least some of them knew they were going somewhere and were picked up most likely by us.

Do you remember that Trump refused to renew that treaty with Russia? Everyone was focused on missiles but it also covered some elements of satellites. The recent advances in our weaponry have been in DEWs especially radio waves and focused lasers and thats just what they have admitted. Starlink is just the first leg in a multi layered plan with Mukt looking at space born communications with focused lasers, and besides being used to protect themselves from electronic threats like enemy satellites, a focused radio wave would allow a proposed halo of satellites to transmit energy from space born solar plants.

All of this ties in with the issues with Svalbard and Trumps need to acquire sovereign land in Greenland because there have recently been problems with access to the communications on Svalbard because of changing terms. If we had a piece of Greenland, even a base that wasnt leased or or had its existence only determined by the whim of Greenland/Denmark, then we could build our own system and never have to be concerned with access.

I wish that we could get past the cornball jokes about aliens and UFOs and have a SERIOUS discussion about what's going on here.

Some people with high security clearances and extensive knowledge who all share connections with what and where they worked have either gone missing or been murdered under unusual circumstances.

This is a big deal.

Screw making yourself look big. If you go hiking beyond the first ridge, carry a pistol.

Why would a foreign power want the victims to bring along things that could be tracked or would be traceable?

General McCasland didn't take his phone or his smart watch.
He left those at home.
He did take his .38

Exactly. They wouldnt which means this group knew in advance, they arent abductees. They left behind things like keys, wallets, phones, wrist watches, etc. You dont do that without a purpose. Some with bags, the general remembered to take his pistol but nearly nothing else. They are runaways, whether they went into a program to hide them or something like that we may never know. Did they all leave home to go into hiding because they were warned there was plot to kill them? Did they have to leave knowing that there was a plan to abduct them and disrupt their research. We cant know yet but at least 4 got away, whether from “the Chinese” or “little greys” is irrelevant.

If you left your house for a walk tomorrow at 8AM and the little grey chinese teleported you into their windowless van then you would have your keys, watch, phone, pocket knife, and whatever else you normally carry. They would have to decide what to do with it so that you werent tracked.

The only reason to leave everything behind is because you knew in advance that you couldnt allow yourself to be tracked when you left.

I'm not sure about the others, but I agree that General McCasland at least knew in advance that something was about to happen, and left purposely.
It has always felt to me like the General left home (and took his gun) so that his wife wouldn't be in danger.

I was taught never to take even three steps into the woods/wilderness without being armed.

I was always taught it’s best not to go alone in any wilderness situation. I always make sure that I have al least one companion that I can outrun.
