Which party do you trust more on healthcare? Voters trust Democrats more, sometimes by a two-to-one margin.
Start every discussion of healthcare by reminding Americans of an undeniable truism: Obamacare has been a catastrophic mistake. The Affordable Care Act has made healthcare much LESS affordable.
When asked who they believe bears the greatest responsibility for rising healthcare costs, voters point to insurers and providers.

It’s not republicans.
It’s about the 23 districts in which a house seat was decided by less than 5%. Those are very likely to be local rather than national in importance of issues.
Why do we not see GOP polling of just those districts. The answer is likely that the primaries have not been completed yet. But there would still be ways to poll
They could… the Republican Party in a nutshell.
It may take a big victory in November or in ‘28 to make these needed changes. They once had the chance to take out Obamacare with no thanks to John McCain. When it comes to healthcare voters will get over big price hikes before they become open to changes(threats)to the status quo. Trump has a history of taking down big conglomerates so taking on the medical complex should be right up his ally. 1)Take out Obamacare. 2)Declare his plan will cover EVERYBODY! 3)Put nurses in a high profile position to make the changes. Throw in a Ben Carson.
Republicans have the House, Senate, and White House. They can’t even get out of their own way, and agree as a party.
This is not the time to be wasting, and treading water.
The dirty little secret is that even most REPUBLICANS are so obtuse and ignorant that that love the very elements of ObamaCare that make health insurance ridiculously expensive.
You could be correct but the issue gets away from us every time the left says health care is a right-it isn’t but when challenged we crouch into a fetal position as the author suggests. He also suggests republicans could deliver better health care at half the cost-sounds like the perfect Trump promise. Schumer will counter with Trump’s boast about ending Ukraine in 24 hours-it buys him nothing.
Health care is an issue and Trump gets things done. This hopeful mid-term convention in September could allow us to but all cards on the table. Non attending senators will be considered AWOL.
As long as you need 60 votes...the Republicans do not maintain FULL power. Pay attention!!
Pharmaceutical companies make massive campaign contributions to both political parties and until that changes Healthcare will never improve in this country
“Which party do you trust more on healthcare”
Neither. I trust Amazon, Walmart and Tesla to fix health care more than any crap government program.
I recently filed my taxes. I have big headache having to fight the IRS and the obamacare program that had signed me up for the past year even though I wasn’t on one. So that’s considered income I have to repay. Luckily I have the cash to cover it until I can fight it and get my money back. But I’m still fighting the IRS when they sent a bill, with no explanation that i owe them $6000 in back taxes. I STILL, going on 4 years now, have received no explanation why it was owed.
I trust the government with my medical care (which is minimal) like I trust the IRS and congress with my investments.
Republicans should be able to win all around on any issue with “affordability”. The Democratique Partei has no viable concept of “affordability” beyond rent controls and subsidies. And neither one of those concepts has any relationship to the free market of capital and ideas.
The voters who decide elections are afraid of the free market. They’re easily spooked. As Obamacare gets too expensive the bitter pill required to end it makes it worse before it gets better. They’ll stick with what’s safe. Wait until SSI goes bankrupt.
Funny, isn’t it? How the democrats ram everything they want right through, with the help of the Republicans, but it doesn’t seem to work the other way.
I wonder why that is?
Because too many Republicans in Congress are assistant democrats, that’s why. Like I said, they can’t get out of their own way!
Where do you think all the “moderate” Democrats went? They took over the GOP.
