Iran launched a fresh wave of missiles at Israel Tuesday – only a day after President Trump said Washington and Tehran were having “constructive conversations” to end the conflict.
Six people were injured following a strike in Tel Aviv and one munition, which damaged buildings and cars in the Israel city, contained 100 kilograms of explosives, the Times of Israel reported.
Three buildings were significantly damaged by the Iranian warhead, according to Home Front Command official Col. Miki David.
David said the projectile appeared smaller than conventional warheads fired by Iran.
Iran also fired missiles on northern and southern Israel but no injuries were reported, according to the Jewish State.
Footage shared by KAN News showed an Iranian missile being intercepted in the Haifa area but a home in the suburb of the city was damaged.
One man in northern Israel was injured after stepping on a missile fragment, according to health officials.
Iranian missiles were also detected heading toward Jerusalem, prompting politicians in the Knesset, the country’s parliament, to shelter.

I thought the Iranians were defeated and helpless. I was told the Israelis had an iron dome and couldn’t be hit by missiles.
Iran will soon run out of missiles... Israel won’t.
I think a few FReepers do. What's it like, folks?
You know this how?
I had read we had reduced the number of launchers by 90% weeks ago. Why then does this persist? With so few launchers and therefore fewer aerial targets, one would have thought the Iron Dome would be more effective. Is Israel running low on anti-missile munitions? What's the problem here?
Nor is it always clear whether the current hit rate is missiles or drones. Is the Iron Dome poorly suited to slower and low flying targets? What are the defensive alternatives? Radar guided flack batteries?
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Notable that there’s no details on the quantity of ‘missiles’...
Based on reports as of March 24, 2026, the conflict has seen a significant decrease in the daily volume of Iranian missile strikes compared to the opening days of the war, yet smaller-scale, targeted attacks continue. IDF Data shows that 90% of Iranian missiles fired at Israel have been intercepted.
Now I wonder who told you that Iron Dome was infallible, and why you’d be surprised that a man made system wasn’t perfect.
Shades of last June when Bibi was begging Iran to stop launching missles at Tel Aviv and Haifa, after the much ballyhooed Iron Dome system took a sh!t after a day and a half of operation. With Tel Aviv and Haifa off-line, Israels economy is pretty much doo-doo.
90% reduction still leaves a few.
Iran is a large country- who knows if the Russians aren’t moving
missiles in there?
Seriously? You think Iran has an unlimited amount of these missiles? They are firing fewer and fewer every day... They do not have a limitless supply.
Iran has 31 military groups that are ‘doing their own thing’ after the attack. If I understand it right, you would have to deal with them separately.
Iran is administratively divided into 31 provinces, each managed by a governor-general and acting as a first-level division. Recent military developments suggest a restructuring into 31 autonomous, province-based units for defense.

Who knows....Well,
Elon knows....
I'd bet somebody does, and they're not making noise.
I thought we and Israel had destroyed all their missiles...
so I guess it’s kind of like if the states in the United States had their own set ups
That’s kind of the way I understand it. It would be different factions operating in a last ditch effort to win. Matt Morse talks about it on his podcast.
Iran had decades to build and store missiles. Same with launchers. !0’s of thousands of missiles and drones. So even after taking large stockpiles out, they have plenty enough remaining that they can launch harassment strikes for a while. Its like the SCUD problem from Iraq. For the launchers we dont know about, they pull them out, launch, and tuck them away before a SCUD watch aircraft can get a bomb on them.
The quicker way to make these attack stop is to continue to break their will to launch. Keep hitting their leadership, and keep hitting any and all IRGC at all levels.
