As the search for Nancy Guthrie hit its 50th day Sunday, leaving the local sheriff desperate and humiliated, a legendary cold-case detective insisted to The Post that the case is still ripe with potential leads.
“Nancy’s case is still very fresh,” said Brian Martin, the crack detective from Fort Payne, Ind., who helped catch the killer of 8-year-old April Tinsley almost 30 years after her murder.
Martin said he is optimistic that law enforcement will track down the abductor of the 84-year-old mom of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, after Nancy vanished with nary a trace from her home near Tucson, Ariz., on Feb. 1.

That connects to my thought of using flowers to cover the cam...that makes me think female, too.
That person is really bundled.....some postures say female, too.
Remember, Nancy is fragile and can't go far. I believe there's someone just out of camera range...i.e., there's at least two people involved. This is NOT a one man/woman job.
I think old nurses aid and dumb a** husband who is a techy.
I'd say there's a third person...in charge of the car.
And two places...one where the nurse is with Nancy and knows and has access to meds...and another place for the two other perps.

I am not so optimistic.
“leaving the local sheriff desperate and humiliated,”
That sheriff’s behavior from Day One was shameful; he should be humiliated. Good and hard.
Has this guy from Indiana ever been out of the US or even near the Mexican border? She lived 60 miles from it, genius, get a clue!
I suspect the following:
1. Kidnapping for ransom gone wrong.
2. Victim dead due to violence or natural causes due to stress of the kidnapping, heart attack perhaps.
3. Buried in the desert somewhere.
“Mexican border? She lived 60 miles from it, genius, get a clue!”
No kidding. That old woman was dead the first night and the killer is in Mexico.
The Arizona Democrat Party and it's politicians are completely corrupted by the cartels and the criminal illegal alien organized crime.
It is highly likely that the Guthrie kidnapping was committed by illegal aliens running organized crime operations.
The Democrats simply cannot have the American people who cheerfully employ illegal aliens as landscapers, pool boys, maids, roofers, baby sitters, nannies, repair men, delivery people and a whole hot of people who are in and out of neighborhoods and inside people homes to realize that these people are often under the control of the cartels that trafficked them into the country or are part of criminal organizations that are casing their homes for the kinds of burglary or kidnapping that are an everyday fact of life in the countries that came from
What was the motive?
Why would they deliberately sabotage it?
“Why would they deliberately sabotage it?”
Cartel connections.
The Cartel
bullshit clickbait headline: the only “involvement of said “legendary” cold-case detective in the guthrie case is that he said the case is not even close to being cold yet, and that there’s still substantial evidence for more leads, including large amounts of DNA that have yet to be analyzed ...
I wonder if there was any sign of drugging Nancy...chloroform.
I think they should have had dogs taking the lead in all this...they had the blood...there may have been a drop 200 or 300 ft. away....or half a mile...
The first call Savannah made was to Mark Kelly, Mark Kelly called the Sheriff who is a die hard commie Dem and told him to make sure the family is NOT investigated..he knew, the brother in law is 100 percent involved, this was about the life insurance policy..give it enough time she will be declared dead and watch who wants to collect the dough
Money how? What she had in her purse?
Tons of various click stories over the last two months on the Guthrie case - but no results.
