Mrs. Eagle and I have been on 3 cruises. Every passrnger tips the baggage handlers $1 per bag. There is no shortage of baggage handlers and they are quick and friendly. Watch how fast TSA employees return to work once they hear their fellow employees are making hundreds of dollars per hour. It's been 20 years since we've been on a cruise so people may tip more than that now.

They aren’t on strike, and many of them are at work, they’re not getting paid because the parties are being idiots again and fighting over stupid crap and using TSA as the weapon. But they’re AT work.
Retro pay a month from now doesn’t help you buy groceries today.
If they can, call out sick is the appropriate tactic here.

Most are democrats. And most are happy not to work. They always get more money when its over. If they work for a delayed paycheck its always larger. If they don’t work they still get paid. Its a win win unless they are at the end of their rope financially. But they always have plenty of warning.

Congress needs to pass a law that requires the managing port authority pay the TSA employees and the feds reimburse the Port.

No. That might work if it was their actual bosses doing the stupid stuff. But it’s the Senate. 8 layers of government BS removed. If there’s a mass “sick out” that just give the Senate more to yell “it’s your fault” “no it’s your fault”. TSA is just stuck in the middle, that song didn’t used to be political but it sure is now.
