Getting rid of grizzlies was a long, bloody, deadly human struggle, and now we have become so detached from nature that we are going to invest our taxes and hire experts to bring them back to restart the deadly struggle.

How about requiring the legislators to also include a line that they they themselves must wear bear attractant and be required to witness the introduction of. Grizzlies? They’d be great decoys protecting the citizens of california.
I predicted this 25 years ago. The bears won’t survive the way these idiots have managed vegetation. They’ll starve, and will need to raid inhabited areas to eat.
