The “Melania” documentary about first lady Melania Trump debuted at the top of Amazon Prime’s streaming charts after premiering earlier this week.
The documentary, which follows 20 days in the first lady’s life before President Donald Trump’s second term in office, hit the streaming service Monday.
Just one day after its premiere, “Melania” became the most-streamed film on the platform and the most-streamed content overall in the United States, according to Flix Patrol.
The first lady celebrated the feat in a post on X Tuesday.
As of Thursday, the film is the third most-streamed overall behind the Amazon Prime series “Scarpetta,” which premiered Wednesday, and “Young Sherlock,” which premiered March 4.
Fox News Digital reached out to Amazon MGM Studios for comment.
“Melania” opened in theaters Jan. 30 to over $7 million, the highest opening for a documentary in over a decade.
Reports found that Amazon MGM Studios spent $40 million on the documentary with another $35 million spent on marketing.

Thank you for your MANY WONDERFUL POSTS OVER TIME !!
Also still get a Lot of Laughs Over Your Bio !!
Watched it two nights ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I especially liked her visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral after having returned from Washington to attend Jimmy Carter’s memorial service, so she could light a candle in memory of her mother’s having passed one year earlier.
Thanks, mass55th. Got to see this Melania movie.
I watched it tonight... My take?
Meh
i watched with interest and enjoyed insights into her fashion background and relationship with her mother.her European background gives her a bit of elegance which she brings to WH events. glad we got glimpse of her sensitivity with hostage/wife of hostage Mrs. Siegel - and nice to see inside Blair House. i’d like a sequel with more about her campaigns for foster children and reuniting Ukrainian children with family through Putin. she is much more than a pretty face.
It was horrible. Definitely a chick flick. I will say this though, she’s all class.
I saw it in the theater and enjoyed it.
You hate it because it’s a chick flick? Bet you hate Christmas too…. not enough violence, blood and guts.
I hate Christmas too, all the pressure, the work, it’s not fun.
It’s going to do better that 100 million massively hyped feminist Frankenstein movie The Bride! (Which is a massive bomb)
Same here. Sis and I saw it at the theater when it was released. Her OCD about her fashion made us believe that people who are on the fence about her and POTUS would be turned off. Came across as snooty.
If fashion were to have been edited out, she would have been MUCH more relatable and sympathetic.
My wife and I watched it 2 nights ago and loved every minute. Melania has brought back the respect, class and style that Michelle and Jill destroyed from the FLOTUS. The WH staff must be thrilled to be rid of Jill as Melania is so kind and respectful of them and their positions.
My wife and a friend of hers saw it at the theatre. Then she and I watched it on Amazon. Melania just absolutely oozes class. Neither of us are into fashion in the least but were very impressed as she treated it more like art than just clothing.
And POTUS, like any good husband clearly listens and often takes her advice.
I wear nice clothes like Columbo wore an overcoat.
I still love fashion.
I don't have a problem with someone because she can afford it and wears it well.
I'm looking forward to watching this. And really looking forward to the fashion.
There's an interesting story behind the design of the FLOTUS' Inaugural gown, BTW.
For anyone who enjoys fashion...
i am impressed with how she treats people around her, in all capacities, with respect. they all seem to want to perform at a high level for her.
“ Bet you hate Christmas too…. not enough violence, blood and guts.”
That’s what makes Die Hard the best Christmas movie!
Followed by Die Harder!
You hate how you do Christmas.
The entire Trump family seems to do that.
