This morning I went to buy gas in Los Angeles. The price at the pump per gallon was as follows:
Unleaded ... $5.3999
Plus ... $5.4999
Premium ... $5.5999
Yet some people here are complaining about gas in their states being $3.50 or $3.60.
Surely you own oil and nat gas stocks to take advantage of this.
Wow, I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.
“With situations like this I get more luvin’ from the missus for making most of our home energy and transportation energy self-reliant. (Home solar and doing most of our driving in the EV.)”
+1
$3.50 for 91 octane, south central Kansas.
A few months ago it was under $4.
Ca tax: $1.29 a gallon.
$5.79-$1.29 = $4.50 for just the gas
Colorado: $3.49-.40 tax = $3.09 for just the gas.
Cali getting killed on price AND taxes.
There’s already discussion among oil analysts that the price of oil could easily hit $200 a barrel. That would translate into something like $10 a gallon gas at the pump if this continues.

Oil “anals”?? They’re being paid to scare the crap out of everybody.
Think I’ll have a beer....
Not sure where you are getting your figures from. In my part of fly over country the price difference between regular(87) and premium(93) can be close to a dollar at times. Regular is $3.50 a gallon. Not much different from about a year ago.
“Yet some people here are complaining about gas in their states being $3.50 or $3.60.”
You’re missing the point. $3.50 is too high. The public has allowed themselves to acceptance and not to question what the politicians have done to them. They then vote them back in to attack another area and watch the political phallus symbols go through a check list of what is important to them and not the people they are supposed protect and defend.
So it’s not the people that are complaining that are not doing their jobs as citizens, it’s the ones that accept their fate and blame other people for their lack of acceptance. The definition of a sheep ready for shearing.

If you're in LA, the price of gas is the least of your problems, and those dumb bastards deserve every thing they voted for.
High gas prices are the least of it, crime, illegals getting every benefit, street rats--human and regular, most corrupt politicians... I could go on but why bother.
Here in York, PA, my Jeep HEMI V8’s Ethanol Free Premium 90 Octane just went up from $3.75/gal to $4.29/gal.
“They need to stop voting for democrats..”
And vote for Americans instead.
I believe a trend exists on blue state gasoline pricing. It like anything else is a weapon to be used for the cause.
President Trump could quickly drop the cost of gasoline by making it illegal for illegal aliens to purchase gas in America and make drivers present a voter I.D. to purchase gas.
In WA we have an even higher gas tax: $1.34/gallon.
We make money, but WE don’t make money. The oil companies make more, and Uncle gets his cut in additional taxes on the increased income. But I pay more for my gas. And things I buy cost more, reflecting shipping costs.
Not a complaint, just an observation. Still better than the best-ever Democrat.
We have governor Gruesome who continually raises taxes, formerly had 40 refineries , now has only 6, losing 2 more this month. Not only gas is high but everything else that is delivered , groceries, items at the stores, hardware. He intended to impose a tax on our mileage recently but apparently refused (?) to sign it. Apparently much easier to just continue raising gas tax and other taxes as he is doing. The joy of a one party democratic state.
You work at home and don’t care? Maybe you will when you see all the other prices rising in the stores and cafes? Including water, electricity? Your TV and telephone, because salaries go up or ???
$6.09 for premium in multiple areas of San Diego while I was passing through last night. I don’t remember California getting oil from Iran.
