Ca tax: $1.29 a gallon.

$5.79-$1.29 = $4.50 for just the gas

Colorado: $3.49-.40 tax = $3.09 for just the gas.

Cali getting killed on price AND taxes.

In WA we have an even higher gas tax: $1.34/gallon.
