The unidentified teacher was suspended with pay after making the comment on February 24 as outraged parents fumed to the Merrillville School Board.
'This is what he thinks about our kids,' one parent said at the Tuesday board meeting. 'I'm not getting over this... now we see this coming from the president also.'
Parents in the school district angrily voiced their complaints at the board meeting, as the Gary branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has launched an investigation, the Chicago Tribune reported.

When an employer suspends you for doing your job, it’s time to find a different job.
A friend who loved teaching quit because his hands were tied. In addition, because he was the only male teacher, they gave him ALL of the problem black boys but dictated the politically correct means he had to use in dealing with them.
oh, by the way, the superintendent said that they take things like this very seriously. I wish they would take educating their students seriously

Yes, If I were a goat mother I would be mad about my kids being called a monkey.
I immediately changed my major when a 6 ft, prob 250+ lb ‘boy’ threw a chair across the room at the teacher in the 6th grade room I was observing to get my education degree.
More fatigue ... These morons are more concerned that calling a bunch of punks what they are rather than suspending the kids so the imposition gets put at the feet of the parents. I have always as an adult chosen VERY carefully WHERE I reside. First thing I do is look at demographics and if they are within reason I will consider living there. Didn’t realize the NAACP was still grifting?
School Administrators are a big problem.
Teachers Unions are a big problem.
Woke teachers are a big problem.
But, really, the biggest problem is the quality of parents. They don’t raise their children right, they get in the way of a decent education, they won’t allow discipline at home or in the schools. We need better parents in this country.
For my money, the solution is to abandon government schools and to either educate children at home (at least the good parents benefit) or to send children to private schools (which don’t have to be fancy or expensive) and then kick the kids out if either the kid or the parents are troublesome.

Monkeys get their color from their hair, not from their skin. I believe all monkeys have pink-colored skin.
We humans, being hairless, needed to use skin color to survive in the equatorial region, and in the temperate and arctic regions of the world. We humans with darker skin color were more suited (”more fitted”) to survive in the equatorial region. And, we with lighter skin color more suited to survive in the arctic region.
Today, with heating and air conditioning, differences in skin color aren’t so important for survival. But, having said this, it makes sense for humans in the north to include foods rich in Vitamin D (such as fish) or supplements in their diet. Many foods are fortified with Vitamin D.

They have burned this Racism bullsh!t into everyone’s minds. Nobody can even tell when people are joking anymore. My mother used to tell me ,to quit acting like a monkey. it didn’t bother me and she didn’t mean it any other way .
