Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman sent waves across social media on Tuesday when the Democratic Senator wore a suit to President Trump's State of the Union address.
"Now we know this is REALLY official business!" They added. "Once again, we can learn who rules over us by simply noticing who Fetterman will put a suit on for," a second person added.
"Fetterman wore a suit last night, and if that doesn’t show respect, I don’t know what does," a third person added. "John Fetterman, IN A SUIT, shakes Trump's hand before his speech. WOW," exclaimed a fourth person.

only Dem (maybe besides Roberts) to shake Trump’s hand
We’ve seen him in a suit before. He doesn’t dress up often, but for some occasions he has done.
“If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support: The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens...”
Did Uncle Festerman stand, or sit on his hands...
He was asked about it on FNC today and he danced around it, listing all of the other things he stood up for. My conclusion was that he didn’t.
Ol’ boy cleans up pretty good if you ask me.
If you’d have told me 2 years ago he was going to be the common sense democrat I woulda told you to put down the Crack pipe. 😏
I wouldn’t be shocked if he changes party.
Any smart Democrat would make the switch. But there may not be any smart Democrats.
Are they upset he didn’t dress up as a frog or giraffe like the rest of the Demonrats?

BTW, I noticed Mark Kelly, the guy who Savannah Guthrie called when she found out her mom went missing, sat on his hands after the president called for supporters to stand.
Kelly better pray illegals had nothing to do with Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance...
While I am about as conservative as the come, as a Pennsylvanian, I respect the way Fetterman represents the Commonwealth.
1) Fetterman wore a suit; 2) Kash Patel celebrated with the American men hockey team; 3) Carline Leavit celebrated the hockey win AND was wearing a MAGA red hat. Red no less. The press is nothing if they are trying to stir up sh*t.
And, we would be dumb republicans to accept any demcommie switching party....they cannot be trusted. Doubtful Fetterman EVER votes against his party.
I hope that when President Trump spoke to him he invited him to lunch. With just a little persuasion I think he could switch parties !
I saw that! It made me think he was a body double.
Fetterman is almost like an old school democrat: showing respect for the traditions and the office, when he disagrees he’s not disagreeable, and he is patriotic rather than just another politician.
The man looks good in the suit. I don’t dress up in one very often either.

He may do so occasionally, but only when his vote is inconsequential to the outcome.
His “Last Sane Democrat” act is just that — an act. All it does is make him every Republican’s favorite Democrat, which isn’t saying much.
Democrats may grumble about him, like they used to do with Manchin, but they know he’s a team player when it counts. For example, Fetterman will NEVER vote for the SAVE Act (if there ever is a vote) no matter how much pipe dreamers believe he might. Switch parties? What a joke.
(Actually that COULD happen — if and only if he loses the 2028 primary to some radical nutbucket and becomes a lame duck. And probably not even then.)
Manchin actually left the plantation on important votes sometimes, but not often. Then again, West Virginia ain’t Pennsylvania despite their proximity.
As a Pennsylvanian I will gladly be voting against Fetterman in 2028. His act doesn’t quite fool *everybody* here.
Yeah he needs that like a hole in the head
Probably took several yards of high quality fabric, but it was worth the effort. Not sure if his wife was elsewhere in attendance. Wonder how she has adjusted to the New and Improved John Fetterman?
