“Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has 'locked down' the Nancy Guthrie investigation amid escalating tensions between his team and the FBI that have reached the boiling point, the Daily Mail can reveal. Several sources say that Nanos is now insisting that only he and two of his highest-ranking inner circle will make decisions regarding the case of the missing 84-year-old. Several PCSD sources confirmed to the Daily Mail that just three decision makers are leading the department's investigation: Sheriff Nanos, Chief Jesus Lopez and Captain Juan Carlos Navarro.”

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
They own police and even judges!
A guy who did financial audits for asset c reco very on behalf of banks claimed half the AZ judges are owned by the cartels.
At this point wouldn’t be surprised these 3 federales were in on it and answer to the cartel
Hannity will always point out the rank and file FBI are patriots. How is he rating Kash Patel’s performance?
The cartels own most of the higher level pols in AZ, so the sheriff would be easy for them.
“I thought that the FBI took over all kidnappings.”
Only if they’re invited.
On Feb. 13, in the first 15 minutes of his podcast, Dan Bongino explained how that works.
That’s what I think is the most logical conclusion.
Cartel members are even living with judges in NM:

They do for people under the age of 18. For 18+ they will wait for an invitation by local law enforcement. Then they may take primary responsibility such as a case crossing State lines or foreign borders. (Mexico)
I have to admit, your scenario is looking rather likely.
.....so let the sheriff have it. FBI move on to duties they are allowed to work.
“ the case of the missing 84-year-old”
Why is the FBI involved in a missing person case.
I am starting to think that’s true. The family should be screaming about this and thy are silent.
Worse: Overreaction. Everyone needs a monitor. Everyone needs a chip ✖️📖
Whatever happened to that judge and his wife that were harboring a Tren de Aragua gang member? They were according to the article facing up to 15 years in prison but were released on bail back in May.
I was thinking it was a warning to all major broadcasters in the wake of the Epstein story.
But it does seem like it’s intended as a distraction, the way it’s all over the news. Maybe a distraction from what’s happening in Fulton and Maricopa.
I keep thinking someone wants to shut up any reporters who know a lot more about Epstein like Guthrie and might want to speak out now - very mafialike hurt the family of one reporter threatening to release her evidence (the interview with Virginia giuffre that either didn’t get aired or was cut to ribbons ) and no other reporter will attempt it.
This is what I think.
Precisely. It doesn’t matter who the cartel is. Could be any criminal org. Like the Mafia helping kill Pres Kennedy. It matters who paid for it or forced it.
Epstein
Did Savannah interview Guiffre?
Too many fingers spoil the Cover-Up pie.....
