A Florida man has been arrested after officials say he intentionally cut a teenager's neck.
Sullivan Clarke, 13, survived the attack on Feb. 14 and is recovering from the injury, while the suspect remains behind bars.
The backstory: The Clarke family was walking along Daytona Beach Boardwalk back to their hotel around 10 p.m. on Valentine's Day. They had spent the day at the Daytona International Speedway.
Sullivan was on his phone, just feet away from his parents, when his mother, Lori, noticed a man walking toward him. In a split second, the man reached out and slashed the teenager's neck.
"I thought he was stealing Sully's phone," Lori Clarke said. "As soon as he slashed him, I yelled, and I said 'Hey!"
The situation was much more dire than a robbery. Sullivan’s father, Jerod, described the terrifying moment they realized how badly their son was hurt, saying he could see deep into the wound. Doctors later told the family that if the blade had gone just one millimeter deeper, Sullivan wouldn't have survived.
Sullivan believes looking up at the Slingshot ride at the perfect time is the only reason he is alive to tell his story. Because he turned his head, the blade hit the side of his neck instead of his windpipe or a major artery.

Here are the facts
According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics 2021 National Crime Victimization Survey:
There were 480,030 violent crimes where Black offenders targeted White victims.
There were 106,460 violent crimes where White offenders targeted Black victims.
The White population in the U.S. is roughly 4.3 times larger than the Black population. So when adjusted for population size:
Black-on-White crime occurs at 1,067 incidents per 100,000 Black individuals.
White-on-Black crime occurs at 54 incidents per 100,000 White individuals.
That’s nearly a 20-to-1 ratio. And yet—this reality is virtually absent from mainstream media reporting.
The discrepancy continues in homicide data. According to the FBI (2021):
566 White victims were murdered by Black offenders.
447 Black victims were murdered by White offenders.
Again: Black offenders kill more White victims in raw numbers—despite Whites making up over 58% of the U.S. population and Blacks just 13%. In per-capita terms, the disparity grows even more stark.
There is a racism Problem in this country, and it is specifically black racism against whites. As a culture collectively black people are blatantly racist.
Probably a lot, but nothing of consequence.

If a white man did this to a random black child walking with his parents this would be a national news story. That this is not in the news shows the racism favoring brown people that happens every day in the leftist media.

The leftist response to that statistical disparity is that black on white crime is more likely to be reported as such because of institutional racism.

Exactly, yet we know it is the very opposite, take DC where literally they were falsifying crime numbers and the media where they intentionally underreport black on white crime.
The truth is the actual black on white violence is much higher, we have a real problem in this country, and it is becoming a national level threat. One race of people is under attack by another, and it cannot be ignored anymore.
