Classic movies resonate because they reflect what we understand in our guts to be true. Silence of the Lambs featured Buffalo Bill, a transgender serial killer who skinned women so he could wear their skin. Driven by the liberal establishment’s promotion of LGBTism, the rapidly expanding Transsexual Violence Hall of Horrors has confirmed the movie’s underlying insight. Yet now Hollyweird apologizes for it.

Silence of the Lambs surprised the industry as an Oscar-winning, generation-defining smash. But over the years, the characterization of Buffalo Bill (whose sexual orientation is not explicitly stated) has been viewed as gender nonconforming and identifying as trans. For his part, Ted Levine — having played the character who is also known as Jame Gumb — has conflicting feelings about the movie, despite its success. …
Levine did not have concerns while making the movie but has developed a fuller understanding of the trans experience in the ensuing decades. “[It’s] just over time and having gotten aware and worked with trans folks, and understanding a bit more about the culture and the reality of the meaning of gender,” says the actor… “It’s unfortunate that the film vilified that, and it’s f[*]cking wrong.”
They never should have cast Buffalo Bill in a bad light. Transphobia is thoughtcrime. It is “f*cking wrong.”
Silence of the Lambs came out 35 years ago this month.
It became the year’s fifth-highest-grossing title, collecting $272 million globally ($659 million today), and was just the third feature in history to win the “big five” Oscars: best picture, director, actor, actress and screenplay.
But you couldn’t make Silence of the Lambs today. It rings too true.

Do they know Buffalo Bill was based on Ed Gein?
And Ed Gein was a transsexual who liked to skin women and wear their skins?
A 35 year old movie about a gender confused murderer.
Considering these so called “trans” peoples bent towards mass shootings these days, I’d say whoever wrote the screenplay for silence of the lambs is a bonafide visionary!

Ted Levine is actually a pretty good actor in my estimation.
He nailed the Buffalo Bill character IMO and played in several of the Fast and Furious movies.

Screw these hollywood clowns. Trannies are mentally ill. Every one of them. It is not healthy or normal to butcher your healthy body. And it is downright evil to butcher a child’s body for the sake of some tranny homo to feel good about themselves or a loser mother seeking fame announcing her children are “trans.”

OK ... so did the studio apologize for making the movie or did some reporter simply get this quote out of actor Ted Levine in an interview? Hate to nitpick but I don’t think this rises to the level of the whole of Hollywood apologizing for making a movie 35 years ago that offends present-day LGTBQIA+XYZ♠♥♣♦ sensibilities. However, I’m sure they would do that immediately if someone decided to make a stink about it. Maybe it’ll happen soon if more people see the interview and the right people get the vapors reading it.
If you are a fan of this movie and want to see it again I suggest buying it on physical media today while you’re able. Along with Blazing Saddles and 1984.
Maybe they can rewrite the script and have Buffalo Bill the hero who only skins MAGA women like the ones who abused him all his life?

Andy NGO keeps posting warnings about trans, they are becoming more and more militant.
And how can you "vilify" kidnapping, murder and mutilating a corpse? Those are all things that are objectively bad.
As if shooting up churches and schools isn't militant enough to convince people they need to be taken seriously when they make threats. Then again, the media has circled the wagons and made sure that those are the only mass shootings that are never ever mentioned again.
