I was surprised she was released as well. Only told to stay away from children. I’ve learned that these days a child abuser has a lot of latitude.

I had to deal with a mother who subjects her children to psychological and emotional abuse. She s always got away with it because:
The misguided but common belief that mothers would never harm their children, and even if the abuse was proven, further action was quashed by denial.
It’s hard to prove in court.
The abusers are psychopathic highly skilled manipulators.
People need to wake up. Children’s lives are destroyed.
I missed the stories where fathers did the same thing.
