New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie:
Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors - including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.
Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance.

Thanks. Was a warrant required? that takes time.
I read that the recovery process was time consuming.
“Google helps FBI retrieve doorbell camera footage in Nancy Guthrie disappearance”
“Google cooperated with the FBI to retrieve video from a doorbell camera outside the home of Nancy Guthrie, a federal source confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The source also said the FBI had been working with Google for a week on the video.
Authorities had first reported the camera had been removed or disconnected, but investigators recovered the video from residual data stored in back-end systems.
Guthrie also did not have an active subscription, so none of the video could initially be recovered, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said.
On Tuesday, the FBI released photos of a potential subject in Guthrie’s disappearance.
“Over the last eight days, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private-sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted or inaccessible due to a variety of factors, including the removal of recording devices,” Kash Patel wrote on X.
Patel also said the video was recovered from residual data located in back-end systems.
“Working with our partners, as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance,” the FBI director added.”
Thx for the link up
Also:
“The Guthrie family does not recognize the individual seen in the newly released surveillance video, according to NBC News.
NBC reported that the FBI decided to release the photos and videos publicly after neither the family nor law enforcement was able to identify the person shown in the footage.
“TODAY” show co-host Savannah Guthrie earlier shared images from the video on Instagram, writing in the caption that she believes her mother is “still alive.”
believe it or not, the buzzards are not in southern Arizona year round
they went to Central and South America for the winter and are not back yet
I don’t think the eyebrows are “thin”. I think the thick, light-colored border of the mask is partially obscuring them. You need to open the image in the OP in a new tab to see it at full resolution.
Thanks; one LEO person on TV said the warrant could have taken much longer.
...but is all this reporting by Fox New when they say "We're hearing that SWAT and Bomb Squad are moving, but we can't say more..." or "the bitcoin account had 'activity' but we can't say more..."
Is by itself tipping off the perpretrators the get out now?
Jesse Watters is now say "we're hearing that the SWAT team is close to their destination, but I can't say more..." Watters might as well be screaming to the kidnappers "Flee now! Get out, their almost there!!!"

Interesting info on the buzzards. I didn’t know that. Here in the southeast we had several at our place last weekend when a ‘possum died near our barn. It was cold enough that we still had spots of snow on the ground.
_____
Info on the bitcoin account.
“KGUN 9 can confirm there is activity in the bitcoin account listed in the ransom email. The activity is less than $300.”
I would think that when they say they ‘can’t say more’, it means that they are just repeating stuff they heard and don’t know any more.
Doesn’t make sense that anyone would know except the perps...
They did not waste time. Nancy had a free account that does not save videos. Rather, they are stored at a data center where they are deleted as written over. The FBI had to locate the deleted data out of millions of deleted files and the use data recovery software to recover the deleted video. I’m shocked the process only took 10 days.
I did not know about the buzzards. Plenty of coyotes around there though and peccaries and javelinas.
The FBI had a large contingent searching the daughter’s neighborhood but they are all leaving now because its getting dark. One of the podcasters said LE was back out at Nancy Guthrie’s house.
The video of SWAT leaving shows a parade of cars foloowing them; some are likely the reporters.
I don’t know anything about Bitcoin, but I’ve heard from several sources today that it’s not as impenetrable as some have said, and that transactions can be traced.
8 hours later: We're told by sources that the fleet is almost at its intended destination, but we can't say more..."

Even said, swat is moving southeast out of Tucson.
