How to stop YouTube from recommending Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro videos? - Google Search Community
I'm getting spammed with recommendations and ads for Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro videos in my feed. It is INCESSANT. I’ve tried clicking “not interested” and “don’t recommend this channel”, abd “block this channel” and nothing is working. I will NEVER be interested in what either of these people have to say. How do I make it stop?
The way google/chrome/alphabet, now Gemini AI profiles computer users is a mystery.
I get only far left wing political analysis.
I will request a centrist or right wing source and get it...but listed 4th or 5th after the left wing sources. And all the related sources and history in the right hand column remain left wing.
I will try to “cleanse” my profile with WWE or some similar non-political sources. The right hand column will then show a mix of WWE and left wing sources.
When I then revert back to politics again it is only left wing sources that appear.
AI/Gemini seems to be even worse than the old google search.
The old google search would list the right wing source I requested in the 4th or 5th position. Gemini seems to ignore the request for the right wing source and will give left wing commentary on the right wing source.
Since I also specifically request Left wing sources often, my speculation is that AI cannot conceive of a person wanting a balanced feed. It assumes that a person only wants one wing, or the other, and not balance. I suspect that advertisers also make that assumption.
Ahhhh, JPeterson bothers you? Wonder why? Did his expose’ on trans crappola cut into your income stream or just scare off the kiddies?
I like Jordan Peterson. He tells it like it is in Canada and has been persecuted for it. He’s moved to the US to escape the persecution and is currently extremely ill.
And the flood of fake AI WW2 “expose’s”. All BS.
And the fake astronomy videos that hint that aliens have been found. YouTube is flooded with such garbage.

Clear your watch history and change your settings to stop retaining it and you’ll stop getting suggestions for whatever it is you don’t want to see.
The author should try this one weird trick...
